Offsides
« on: February 20, 2011, 04:43:37 PM »
I got taught the basics when I was 10 years old. If you stand beyond the last man by a couple of yards you are never going to get away with it.

We always seem to have strikers who can't work the offside trap.

Horse, Bednar and now Fortune.

Sometimes its embarrassing how bad the timing of runs are.

It's also annoying how late we leave our final ball. That then leaves no room to make any run. Then there's the odd occasion where we are onside the ball through is poor or the ball gets over run.

It is a problem we have for some reason, can get very frustrating at times, fair enough on the close decisions but with us you just know its offside, one of the many basic things we need to sort about our game.
