I reckon that team could do quite well - Dawson and Phillips on right, Gibbs and brunt on left.

Heres hoping.

Well defended, he did well to at least get it on target

It's easy to ignore in this long winless streak that despite not getting the results the performances are much better under Pardew

Has it really? The Liverpool performance I agree and probably Everton too but the rest seems like the same inconsistent performance.

Why don't we go down with the ball, rather than hoofing?

The balance in this team selection is all off. Need Yacob in there to sit in the gap between our defence and midfield - Arsenal are consistently outnumbering us on the ball, which is tactically unforgivable.

They're going too. They've essentially got a 6 man midfield against our 4.

Exactly. Against arsenal we should be playing five in midfield (Yacob in for Robson-Kanu)

Fair enough. I thought you meant playing Yacob instead of Livermore. Either way still gives them an extra man.

Without question, first couple of games were more of a transition

Save the date, Livermore made a move on the attack to actually make a difference

HRK absolutely everywhere. Fully justifying his selection and Pardew his tactics. Getting in behind them well.
