Horrible injury wish him well.

Worry at such a young age, must not rush back.

Not sue there was any really value in this window however, and that is what we are about.

There hasn't been a a transfer yet where I've thought we should have been in for him.

Still time to go always nice to bring 1 in just to freshen it up, who knows maybe the club will steal a good loan.

Possibly correct in that we have had a bargain with £40k however I do not believe Odemwingie has put in enough performances this season to warrant a pay rise.

Not enough creativity in central midfield will cause Morrison and Brunt to come inside and then lack of width will be a massive problem. In my opinion the one thing we have learned the past 3 years is we cannot play 4-4-2 regularly and effectively.

It would be more direct I know what your saying about lack of creativity but I'm just trying to get the best players on the pitch.

If we go 4-2-3-1 I'd probably drop Lukaku and put Thomas in, but for me we start lack options then in that system with little competition for the attacking mid 3 with only Dorrans to offer this competition with Gera out.

But surely the way to leave a club is like Greening.

Fulham came in we rejected, he gave his reasons on why he wanted to go, got his head down and the deal was done when Fulham came upto valuation.

Pete wants to go for more money than fine by me, I think QPR is an odd choice but hey it is upto him. However he is our asset and if a player wants to go I expect we will do more to grant his wish, but we do not have to give him away.

I'd like us to change to 4-4-2 so we can get both Long and Lukaku on the same pitch.

Foster

Jones
McAuley
Olsson
Popov

Morrison
Mulumbu
Yacob
Brunt

Long
Lukaku

All of those players in their right positon only Morrison would probably suffer but he still very good on the right of midfield.

Derek McInnes been sacked.

Talk of him being our manager at some point.

Shame for him but his record there has been poor.

We'll see next season. Wood's goals will fire Leicester into the PL.

We would have snapped hands off to get a young goalscorer like Chris for a paltry £1.5 million when we were in the Championship.

My guess is that Wood will soon be worth £10 million+.

But we probably won't have been worth £10m + with us, never going to get a game, sometimes a player has to leave to better himself, we got a good deal for a player not required at present and unlikely to turn into a player without regular games and been settled.

Hopefully we will invest the money we got for him.

despite being the best performance we've seen in weeks we still manage to lose late on. like everyone, i'm absolutely gutted at losing. expecially when we were cruising and by far the better side.

i can't believe how easy the supporters are on olsson. giving away the penalty is what ultimately lost that game and was an unbelievably stupid move. however, everyone is quick to blame rosenberg!?! to even blame brunt, jones or dorrans... ridiculous!

I agree Olsson contribued largely to this loss silly error we do not expect from him.

Players let us down today for me, it is threadbare but for the first time in a while you have to question whether they have the will to win I know Reading need the points more than us but it was just shocking at how easy the goals were.

Defence needs more competition

We miss Yacob this is obvious.

Lost there heads defensively in the last 10 mins for whatever reason. We aren't as good as we think we are but any side is going to miss the players we have out at the minute.

Maybe at the moment not enough competition in the backline as even with that poor show in the last 10 I probably still won't change the personal.

I don't think we did, not proven at Prem level, (granted not given chance) but never really convinced in an Albion shirt for me.

Big step up from Championship to Prem.

I think best chance of him leaving is for a championship side like Leicester, Hull, Cardiff etc on loan with a promotion clause making it binding in the summer for a set amount of money.

Not sure any premiership club would take him to be honest.

Brunt had a decent scoring record upto last & this season, perhaps he isn't able to get into those positions of which he is currently played?

I like him to be honest and even though granted no where near as consistent still the best set play taker in the club in my opinion.

Doesn't surprise me to be honest it just hasn't worked out in the last few seasons, we all know what a good player he is and a move way may suit Graham so he can get back to playing regularly and return to form.

Seems a nice lad to me, just wants to play and a return closer to home may suit him best.

Oh okay.

Still quite a while ago those weren't they.

Even Curtis Davies think s we are better.

http://www.sundaymercury.net/midlands-sport/aston-villa-fc/aston-villa-fc-news/2012/09/30/west-bromwich-albion-are-the-top-midlands-team-now-says-curtis-davies-66331-31934513/

CURTIS Davies reckons Albion are the strongest team in the Midlands – not Villa, the team he once joined from the Baggies.

After years of living in their bitter rivals’ shadows, Davies believes the Black Country outfit are now the top dogs in the region and says they are favourites ahead of today’s derby clash at Villa Park.

“Right now, in the Midlands, Albion have to be the best team because of the way they’ve started and the way they finished last season,” he said.

“You have to say so, because they’ve got a very strong squad and have brought in some top players. You would be a liar if you said anything else.”

Davies, who now plays for Blues, left The Hawthorns in 2007 to join Villa in a deal worth more than £10 million.

His switch was one of many big-money buys during the Martin O’Neill era as Villa regularly enjoyed European football.

But since the Irishman left, the claret and blues have slowly declined while Albion have consolidated their Premier League status and kicked on.

And 27-year-old Davies reckons that times have changed because of the lower budget that current Villa boss Paul Lambert has to operate with.

“I think Albion have overtaken Villa,” he added. “Albion are progressing more whereas Villa’s stance is that they are trying to buy young players and redevelop.

“Under O’Neill, Villa were known for signing big players at high fees, now they’re trying to sign younger players like the Bennetts, the Lowtons, etc.”

The big centre-half, touted as an England prospect when he joined Villa, believes that Lambert’s buys could bring the glory days back to Villa Park if given time.

“They’ve got the ability to play now but, in a few years, they’ll have incredible ability and they’ll be pushing with the rest,” he said.

Oh right. We've won seven times as many titles as Forest and in fact they've been champions as many times as you.

I guess we missed the memo for European Cups counting for five or six.

Good news though, while obviously Forest are the most "successful" Midlands side, we have at least now leap frogged Arsenal as the third most successful English side behind Liverpool and United. Based on your formular of course.

How can you be third behind Liverpool & United when Forest are more successful?
