KB, and the rest of the defence, all played very well today.

Need another gritty performance on Friday night.

COYB!!!

Feel sorry for TF, he does all the hard work putting it on a plate for our forwards and nothing.

Great save Al.

Keep it up for the rest of season please.

I thought it was going to be a case of the 2 ex Sunderland strikers, coming on from the bench today after both being injured all season.

Never thought Maja wouldn't even make the bench.

I don't understand CC's comments about him, as Saints aren't known for their crunching tackles.

Is this guy made of straw?

So frustrating.

What this manager could do with a finisher.

Does anyone know what the matter with him now?

He got the winner against Blues, which was priceless.

Head and shoulders a better signing than Albrighton.

Could still be useful off the bench, as seen at Huddersfield (I think).

Never have 2 semis given so much pleasure.

There's a presenter on Talksport who reckons dick has a cycle at every club where eventually he is found out and given the boot.

Fingers crossed 2 more defeats and missing out on 4th means that cycle has it's tyres burst quickly, and himgone soon.

Yes, 6-2 on aggregate.

Ayoub El Kaabi must be given the freedom of West Bromwich for his 5 goals.

Absolutely brilliant.

Dogger stan was giving it large at the start of the season saying the scum would be playing Juventus in the final.

The cretin didn't even know that Juventus didn't want anything to do with the conference pears whatever it is called and insisted that their European ban be served this season.

I don't think the end of the Puma contract matters.

They aren't supplying the new kit or other merchandise so it isn't like anyone is stepping on their toes.

All puma merchandise has been reduced to clear.

It would be very stupid for Puma to act in a vindictive manner, harming any future possibility of them getting the contract back.

Liam Delap available for sale from Man City by all accounts.

EDIT - Sun are saying they want 10m!

I read they were after £11m.

Good luck getting that.

Only a promoted team is likely to go for him.

If we don't go up I hope we consider Stansfield as a forward option.

I think Whittaker will be out of our reach and will probably end up at Stoke

I am praying and hoping for 3 wins in ours and Spurs next 3 games and 3 defeats for the scumbags.

That would be the perfect hat trick.

Shocking decision to give the boot to LR.

Rumour is Mogga may not be going back to Blues.

I hope they don't have the foresight to appoint LR.

The same organisational skills that saw us lose at home to Huddersfield,Sunderland and various others, the same that persists with playing Townsend and the same that drops fellows regardless of form and played Phillips when there was absolutely no need to bring him on in a cup match in which he got injured..
Or are we only doing the good bits for Carlos and the bad bits are down to someone else ??

I cannot believe that post.

We're you the one who said our strike force was going to smash everyone?

Having a go at cc for losing games and bringing a player on.

You're unbelievable.

Tyrese Campbell released by Stoke, Millwall reject chance to sign Obafemi on a permanent from Burnley and loads more going on already

Edit - saw WBA twitter talking about his Albion connections etc had no idea what they were and I've only just found out he is the son of Kevin Campbell

I've mentioned TC previously as a, potential signing.

Not perfect, but better than we have.

Some were just waiting to put the boot in.

Ignoring the fact that all the teams above us were also faltering after a hard slog of a season.

Southampton had also lost their previous 3 games, just like we had, before beating Leeds yesterday.

No thought given to the likes of Swift who have let us down for months on end and no striker worthy of the name and no money spent, but still deeming our squad one of the best.

It wasn't one of the best.

I would counter both Coventry and Hull had better squads.

We've overachieved to get 5th when our true position was around 8th.

This great squad really isn't that great.

Great news!!!

The government have just announced a public bank holiday for Monday 6/5/24 to celebrate Blues relegation.

Excellent news.

On another note their American football legend Tom Brady has been criticised for not turning up at the Blues s hole in his customary inspector gadget coat and instead choosing to party at an F1 party.

However, Brady has assured fans that he is looking for the next FTX type Ponzi scheme to endorse to help fund the "project".

Speculation is rife that after previously trying with Karen and now Tom, Blues 45% buffoon of an owner Wagner is currently considering Ian as the next club ambassador to instill that killer instinct into his side.

Blues created this previously non existent rivalry with their degenerate, mouthy and scummy fans.

Now reap what you sow, whilst football rejoices.

I always rated Cedri, there was something about him, really hope he stays, captain next season?

So did I and the posts are on this thread.

His passing was great from day one and he just needed someone to believe in him and give him a run of games.

The treatment of him and AM by Bruce was terrible and both back this season was like having 2 new players.

Spot on
Remember nobody fancied CC's Huddersfield and they made the final

He finished 3rd with the terriers and was unlucky to not get top 2, and went on a 20;plus unbeaten run.

Getting to the final with them was expected after that.

For me it's very unlikely that we'll win the po.

Getting there was very important though, as it shows Patel that he has a gudun who needs to be backed, and we really need to keep him and help him take us forward.

Anyway chaps! Albion - Leeds at Wembley? Leeds fans of a certain generation still don't like us after the infamous 'offside', but what an atmosphere it would be....spine-tingling stuff. And I bet CC would love to get one over on them!

Wooow, let's get there first.

Got to get past the big obstacle of saints first.

Personally I would have preferred a dejected and knackered Leeds in the semi, and I think so did Norwich, hence there half hearted performance against Blues.

Excellent manager or coach whatever he is called. On paper a terrible team but he's got them playing to their strengths.

Getting him and Huddersfield getting CC were inspired but risky appointments when they made them.

It is nothing we ever have the bravery or knowledge to do, and we wait until CC has proven himself before getting him.

Hopefully, the new ownership will be knowledgeable and we can avoid the perennial turds like Pardew and Bruce.

He has certainly done well by coming back from making the "worse goalkeeping error of all time".

Great revelation since he got his way overdue opportunity.
