Awful team. We can still lose 4th and the advantage of the home leg second. There is still an outside chance of 2nd albeit slim but while it is there we should believe and gonfor it (surely how we nearly stayed up last season proves this?!).

Exactly. I'm staggered by the selection to be honest. Only 3 games to go and still in with a shout of automatic, and resting players, disgraceful.

Not saying we can't win today with the chosen line-up, however.

Villa will beat Leeds next week, so if they fail to beat Brentford this evening and wed don't win today, we have effectively thrown away a chance of nicking third spot at least.

Sheffield could lose today away to Hull quite easily also and have a potential banana skin away to Stoke on the last day.

We should be keeping pushing at this stage and be playing our best team, shocking stuff.

Reading are at home and will be looking to guarantee their place in the division for next season, so they should be well up for it.

Garath McCleary replaces Yakou Meite (their top scorer) because of an injury.

Yakou Meite has scored nine goals in his last 12 home league matches for Reading. Good to see the back of him.

Seriously why are we even giving a rubbish at those other scores? Did anyone really think on their form either of those squads were going to let us in. It's playoffs, let's keep positive for all that lies ahead.

Thanks to Bilston Dan for the stream link...

(edit) 'from which it's pretty clear if we DO go up we need a goalkeeper.' - that was a bit unfair of me, no one is showing much intent.

This is a nothing game, barely any shots at all. As if it were the last fgame of the season and both teams are mid-table mediocrity.

Need a win here. Rotherham and derby will have everything to play for. Can’t understabd the change. Especially with our poor away form recently

Maybe the heat on Friday and the short break means players are not fully rested? Perhaps Readings 2 early injuries confirm that.

The other teams in the top 8 haven’t done this  ;)

How are we doing? BBC said their keeper made a couple of decent saves. Are we on top?

Doesn't sound like there is much in it (Radio WM). Not really that much happening.
