Copy and Paste it - Palmer and Griffiths get clean sheets. Will either keeper ever concede a goal again? The Button signing makes more sense with every passing week.

Windsor plays the full 90 in a draw for Grimsby and again seems to have had a good game. Jamie Soule meanwhile continues collecting splinters on the Lincoln bench, starting to look like a bit of a misjudged move.

Saul Shotton's Woking make the FA cup 1st round with a 2-1 win.

The rest of our loan army continue to be out injured. Hopefully one of Azaz, Tulloch, Clayton-Phillips or Morton will return to action soon.

Clean sheet klaxon for Palmer - his 4th on the trot.

Griffiths let 2 in for Cheltenham and Windsor went off after 60 odd minutes.

Not much else to report. Tulloch's hamstring injury is clearly long term and Azaz injury is puzzling Cheltenham (his foot is now in one of those snow boots as a precaution). Morton is still some way off and no news on Clayton-Phillips.

I get the impression Dowling and Appleton's friendship may have clouded our judgement on that loan.

Hasn't developed physically after being an England youth international at 16/17. In January we were sending him on loan to the national league at Barrow (where he didn't get a game due to the pandemic grinding everything to a halt), then later in the year we decide he might have a chance at arguably the best team in league 1?

Should have gone to league 2 really. Still, time for us to correct our mistake in January.

Yes, that was the theory, but if he can’t even get 5 mins from the bench then it’s a bad call.

I don't understand why we haven't linked up more closely with Walsall in the last few years. I'm sure it would benefit both clubs, especially as they had to set up a donation page recently to cover costs.

With Zohore the latest in a long line of injuries to our loan army and the recent halt to the momentum of those who are fit, it doesn't feel like any aspect of the club has much positive happening at the moment.

From what I can tell, Palmer did ok tonight despite the goals. Griffiths conceded 2 for Cheltenham while the lack of goals for Windsor at Grimsby is a tad disappointing.

It would be nice if one of Morton, Tulloch or Azaz might get fit soon, because if we are going tp go down it would be nice to have some players who are worth looking forward to next season.

Windsor played a significant part in the build up to Grimsby's winning goal. Watched the highlights earlier but for some reason the link wouldn't copy. It's also worth mentioning he conceded possession a little easily a couple of times, although those moments didn't prove costly in the end. This time.

Windsor gets his second goal of the season for Grimsby from the penalty spot.

In other news, Finn Azaz is expected back for Cheltenham next week.

Josh Griffiths away with the England under 20's, allowing Cheltenham Town stalwart Scott Flinders to return after his leg break. It's a bit worrying as Flinders kept a clean sheet mid week and another one today might relegate Griffiths to the bench.

Was hoping today would see the return of Finn Azaz but looks like his injury may have been aggravated again.

No game for Grimsby, Lincoln, Doncaster Rovers or Solihull Moors.

Back to the Masters, Rugby and GAA it is.

In hindsight, should have perhaps turned down the call up.

He can clearly play at that level so if he sits on the bench until January hopefully we can pull him back and get him playing somewhere else.

Griffiths just about gets his place back after international duty and gets another clean sheet, keeping him at the top of the League 2 tally.

Same goes for Alex Palmer who collected yet another one at Lincoln.

Not much else to report, but Finn Azaz did make the bench FINALLY for Cheltenham. Fingers crossed that Tulloch, Morton, Soule et al return in the next few weeks too.

I have high hopes that at least one of our keepers will be challenging for the shirt at the Baggies next season.
