The anti vaxxers will jump all over this, just when our government are telling people the vaccine is safe this rag comes out with this when there is no proof. Brilliant bit of journalism I must say,  >:(0

How is it anti-vaxers? its a persoanl account and I think it was the old fella who disbelieved it not his daughter.
I wish people would take it at face-value rather than looking for an angle she lost her dad for god sake.

I don’t and won’t read any MSM stories.

They print lies and made up stories.

Unless you know the person how do you know it’s a personal story and not some made up one?

MSM has made me cynical to what they print these days.

Could be true, more than likely not in my experience

There is a limit surely, I couldn't agree more most stories are  misinformation but there are a lot of private photos why would a newspaper go to the lengths on this story to fake it?, it's not a major story.

That’s the problem...I can’t take anything the MSM write and print at face value.

Perhaps if they stuck to truth 100% of the time people would find things they print more believable. As it is, they don’t so people don’t find it believable

They went to the lengths of putting gin bottles on Gascoignes doorstep to get photographs and make people think something that hadn’t happened had.

They will goto the lowest of low depths to make a story seem believable.

Like I said, it might be true and it is very sad if her father died. But I’m not going to automatically believe it because they attached some photos to it. They have previous for it

I just checked she's a journalist and writes for the Mail so I take it her dad has died as for the rest as I said earlier make of it what you will.

That goes for all newspapers didn't the Guardian have to issue an apology recently and the BBC are always having to correct themselves.
Looking at the reaction I wished I hadn't have bothered!

That’s the point I’m making to be fair mate.

Their plethora of lies means anything they print that is true I still question

Still a very laboured re-opening.

Positive news that recreational cricket season will go ahead without delay. While foreign holidays should recommence in early May.

Just remember all these dates carry the ‘at the earliest caveat ‘. It does look now if I may be able to go to the Test at Edgbaston on 11th June.

Exactly. It's all far too slow.

I was contemplating buying a ticket earlier. I doubt I'd have had my jab by then however.

Three reasons 1) the scientists have insisted on 4/5 weeks between each stage 2) he made a rod for his own back by saying the relaxations were irreversible so has to be more cautious 3) They got it all wrong last time with eat out to help out etc

Season is over though so in reality stadium return is August but quoting May sounds better.

I'm mid 40's so still a wait for me! As long as I can go abroad this year then I can wait for everything else.

I presume that the test match is a reduced capacity. Is that correct do you know?

Don’t know yet but going to be difficult when people like me have bought more than one ticket obviously they will want to sit by whoever is going with them

This is a football forum as we are reminded often enough  ;D so I'm only looking at it from a football perspective.
