Over 3500 tickets left for Saturday, that's shocking.
I think what it shows is most teams are heavily reliant on season ticket sales. It would be interesting to know how many match day tickets we shift per game. I can't envisage being a massive swing like there was maybe 30,20 or even 10 years ago. A lot of factors like opposition, weather, form etc previously would come into play.
I believe there are now less fluctuations. This isn't based on data nor evidence but me making a presumption. Maybe this is something that could be asked at the Albion Assembly.
This year due to our season tickets being below par it's been difficult for us to shift circa 5,000 matchday tickets per game.
