7272 seats remaining at the moment.

BRE: 3023
Halfords: 869
East Stand: 3093
SME: 287

Given the capacity is 26,850 with around 3,000 for the away end, roughly around 16,500 sold so far.

I don't know how accurate this is being from The Mirror, but apparently by the 6th of July last season we'd sold 15k ST's. It seems a bit low in my view - if true though, I suppose an increase of 1500 is better than nothing.

Yeah I saw that 15k figure in a few places like the Daily Star, TalkSport and a few other sites. I think TalkSport had that as our final figure too, based on 'official figures'. Doubt it was official though.

Away allocation is 2,685.

Also the general capacity has been further reduced from 26,850 as a result of making the stadium more inclusive for wheelchair users, their changing facilities and spaces for their attendees. Wheelchair bases have been increased from 145 to 171.

https://www.wba.co.uk/news/2017/july/hawthorns-accessible-stadia-completion/

I have no idea how many pre existing spaces were removed to enable the redevelopment though.

I must say the redevelopment is spot on as well.

Excellent news.

Hope the new set up works smoothly for you  8) .

Not for me SmethDan I sit in the East Stand and all the major work is in the Smethwick / Halfords corner and the Halfords/ Brummie corner.  We now meet the Premier League requirements of the number of wheelchair bays for a ground of our size.

Something to be proud of, where I heard some other clubs were digging their heels in

"More than 16,700 season tickets are thought to have been sold - around 1,200 down on last year, but with another three weeks until the season starts." Taken from the Birmingham Mail. Not sure how accurate their figures are or how many the club would expect to sell in the three weeks before the season starts.

Honestly, no. I've said it before, but the lack of personalisation in our correspondence is dreadful

I work in marketing and if you knew how bad WBA is compared to other football clubs you'd want us to up our game.

It's so easy to get "Dear [Your name here]", I honestly don't understand why we don't.

It may be easy to put a name, of course. But if we did how many people would say 'my god the club put my name on the piece of paper I'm going to immediately throw away. Aren't they amazing!'

The effort and slight cost of printing each with a different name, making sure the right name is stuffed in the right envelope and delivered to the right people, for absolutely no gain is so silly to complain about. Print out 16,000 of the same letter, smash one in each envelope and send out, job done. Oh and put in a freebie car sticker too.

I would hope if we do revert to putting names on that otherwise pointless bit of paper, those complaining would frame them if it's a big enough deal to complain about.

You still have to use a template for the address, so makes no difference to cost or time adding the name in.
