it does seem a lot longer than just over 3 weeks ago, probably because in that time we've not performed against Man city, Southampton (twice) and Chelsea.

Love the ex pro's defending Delph's red in the Man City game against Wigan. Favourite being Lescott's 'You can understand why the referee gave the red card but the ball was bouncing so you can see why Delph's foot was high.'

Kicked off in the tunnel with Guardiola then. Raging he was. Deffo red for me.

Ref pulled a yellow out, wrote on it, then pulled his red out, wrote and that and showed it. Clearly caught up in the moment. FA Cup madness at its best.

Tonight’s result makes our defeat last Saturday even more significant. We would have been at Wigan in the next round with a place in the semi final at stake. Ah, well...

I just knew that would happen tonight. Bloody typical that is. Still, saved us further embarrassment in losing at Wigan I suppose. On another note, that smarmy, slimy git Lineker couldn't even get Wigan's name right after the match. Wigan Town he called them. I really can't stand him.

And having a manager willing and able to change tactics and formations during the course of a match to suit different passages of play makes a huge difference too. And that is with 3rd tier players.

With any cup...You only have only one chance.
You have to attack.
Last weekend, we set up to defend, as per Pulis. We all know the outcome.
How can we get it through some manager's brains?
Perhaps we only employ those resigned to failing.

Two things do matter now though.

1. Wigan are through

2. We're already out.

No disrespect to Wigan but however it's dressed up we've missed out on a wonderful opportunity of progression to the latter rounds of the FA Cup.
