The results have gone quite nice for us today, fingers crossed we can take advantage and get 3 points tomorrow.

They have - a win tomorrow would put us within a point of the top.

I hope “zonal marking” doesn’t become this season’s equivalent of our “playing out from the back” obsession last season.

I’ve just watched Everton’s zonal marking falling to bits again on MOTD - they let goals in from corners and set-pieces all the time.

The Cowleys focus on corners and free kicks a lot. Just saying.

Looks like it's going to be a wet one today guys, forecast is not good and includes the possibility of thunder and lightning so time to dig out the waterproofs!   ???

I think I read that Slaven had said he would be deploying both zonal and man making systems during games and that he had no real set system in that regard.

I know that people will argue that Huddersfield are a better team than the table suggests, however they are still bottom of the table for a reason.

We should be going at them from the start and killing them off early for once, rather than showing them any respect and letting them into the game.

We need to start showing teams that we’re serious about promotion and that we can kill off teams in the bottom half of the table.

Do we really need Livermore at home against the bottom side, We looked far better when him and Phillips went off last week. Hoping Austin can get off the mark.

Get in Phillips, I don't rate this setup with Perreria out wide though.

I don’t think we made a great start even before their goal

He's got no chance with the goal but he's so flat footed again he's not in a position to attempt a save.

1-1.

Phillips.

Excellent touch passing there; Furlong-Austin-Phillips.

Normal rubbish slow start on defence though

I agree, our midfield 2 don't protect as much as they should at times. Krov has been anonymous too, thankfully Phillips, Austin and Furlong have been excellent together.

That pass was never ever on god knows what Bartley thought he saw there, becoming a very tiresome broken record piddling about at the back and conceding
