Some big misses there today. I hope we soon see the end of him in the middle and him playing in a wider area once we have Maja reinstated, perhaps a new CF in and await to see how Dike does on his return.

Congrats Kippers on your player of season awards.

Very well deserved.

Thanks for helping to top it off with a clean sheet and po place.

Now 3 more clean sheets please.

Fans and players’ choice. Sure hope he re-signs.

I tend to avoid told you so’s but surely we can all be happy about this one!!

I think he’s triumphed against adversity and been fantastic. He’s not perfect but the only teams that finished above us were the 3 relegated teams and an Ipswich side that spent very, very well. He’s taken 8 points of Ipswich and Leeds. He’s done a cracking job. He has faults and on a Pepe Mel to Tony Pulis scale he goes closer to Pulis but that caution could very well be what has got us where we are.

Add an early 2nd and I think Preston will lose interest. They barely look interested anyway

Gaza Euro 96 moment there. Inches away.

Anybody else paid for the pass and have no sound?!

14
At some point, not today, someone needs to explain this 'casting' malarky to me. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with fishing!

In simple terms - sending the video of the game from your phone to your TV!

15
Does this site have an option to resize somewhere?

Wallace has been pretty anonymous lately to be fair  :P
M tried to solve it and I’ve now broken it!

16
This would be good to know actually as I’m considering get the Match Pass. Sky usually block casting, no idea about these.

For anyone wondering - I’m currently able to cast the pre match live stream to my tv so seems good for that unless a block kicks in at KO but I’m not sure it’s that intuitive!

17
Yeah you send an image that size and still miss Wallace!

Pretty sure that’s the team I wanted?! I’m pleasantly surprised that Wallace is dropped

Saw us lose both Vs Derby and Portsmouth under Mowbray, but wouldn't be able to make it this year. Maybe I'm bad luck...

Saw us lose to Derby but beat Port Vale at old Wembley. Can’t make it this year because of work commitments. Should we make it. And if it kicks off early I’ll be at bloody work!

19
Morning all. Can anyone clarify if the WBA TV match stream allows casting? COYB

Big day! Will Patel be in attendance?

I feel quite confident of a win but there’s that nervous background noise in my mind that West Brom have created over the years!

Hope for a simple win where we can get a couple of goals clear.

There may be nothing in this at all but both players on trial last night are centre backs. Well apparently the Wolves guy can play CB and RB. But with Bartley and Kipre out of contract I just found it interesting.

I can see us losing Kipre and saying bye bye to Bartley to go with Ajayi and Taylor. Hope we keep Kipre as I don’t trust Ajayi and I don’t think CC does either.

I agree that I was a bit disappointed when I saw that Griffiths was in goal for the Black Country Derby, but I'm sure that Griffiths as the 2nd choice keeper was promised the cup matches before the season started.  If you look at the stats; Meslier at Leeds has kept 18 clean sheets and has a 68.4 save percentage, and Palmer has 17 clean sheets with a 70.1 save percentage, so that's exactly why I and most Albion fans are more than happy with Palmer in goal.  I have watched every Albion match this season and there's nothing to me that suggests that Griffiths should be ahead of Palmer, and it seems Mr Corberan also agrees.

Couldn’t have put it better myself. Far more pressing concerns than the GK department. I think the biggest question is what we do with Griffiths? Send him out on loan in the Championship? That way it goes any of these ways; he proves he’s good enough for us/he adds value back onto himself for us to sell/we learn he isn’t good enough.

Either way, if we keep Palmer and there are no decent permanent offers for Griffiths - send him on loan in the Champo if there’s a taker. Recall option in Jan and backfill with experience for August - December.

Voting just once gave a clear view on what the majority thought were the main areas of concern now allowing multiple votes the poll can be manipulated  by individuals who have a dislike of a certain player which renders the poll worthless.
That's my opinion anyway time will tell if I'm right as at the moment we have two players with 75% of the vote in Townsend and Asante.
All of the above applies if you can vote more than once for any player if it means you can vote for several but not more than once each then the above does not apply and can be ignored  ;D

You can still only vote once. Just multiple players. If it was just one vote it might as well just be “who is the worst player.”

Anyway, I voted Townsend and Ajayi. Both are positional nightmares prone to a number of errors that literally cost us points more times than not when selected.

Everyone else forms a core of a decent team and squad but needs building on. As someone else said - at the right price all offers would be considered.

Yeah, goodbye to all of them please. Make it a 7 seater and ensure Weiman and M’Vila are in it too.

I hope we start something like this:

Palmer, Furlong, Kipre, Bartley, Townsend (urgh), Mowatt, Yokuslu, Fellows, Diangana, Johnstone, BTA (if Maja is ready then him).

I feel we will see us start with Wallace though. I mainly hope we see that midfield though.

There’s also of course Swift who could easily start and have one of his brilliant games. I only saw a bit of the Sheff W game - as in about 20 mins a bit before and after they went 1-0 up but Diangana was looking good in that time.
