He's the new goalkeeping coach.

Should foster really take advice from this guy?
Imagine batistuta being trained by Ewan Roberts , might be professional but come on..

If you read Walsall's website you'll see a glowing reference from them. Apparently Neil is one of the most highly rated goalkeeper coaches around and is an Albion fan to boot! I'm sure Foster was consulted and gave his blessing considering goalkeepers work so closely with their coaches.

Welcome back home Neil

He's a coach not competition. Should Hegazi and Evans take advice from Darren Moore?

It's a totally different role. A good player doesn't necessarily make a good coach and vise versa.

All top class tennis players have coaches, does that mean they are better than Federer, Murray etc? Of course not.

I think Neil Cutler will be a fine addition to the WBA coaching staff - welcome back Neil!

I don't recall Jonathan Gould having a stellar career as a player, yet Foster seemed to be more than happy being coached by him.

Seems like a very good coach. Seems to work well with Shan and Moore.

Building a good set up. Very positive.

Neil Cutler has left to join the Seals and be reunited with Dean Smith.  Academy GK Coach, Mark Naylor, will train the first team GK's in the interim until a replacement is found

Well he's earned the pantomime villain reception he's going to get.
Hope we got some good compensation for him to further add too viles financial woes

Good
If he is responsible for jonstones development .....it hasn't happened

There was a situation last week where Blackburn attacked , over hit the ball down to the left hand side of the brummie

A good/normal keeper just collects it, our hero rolls over it spilling it embarrassingly and then has to recover, thankfully no Blackburn near

Now I now he's next after foster who was very good and consistent, but I'm really not sure on Johnstone..part of me says it the pantomime in front of him, part of me that he had a good season last (many do) and he's not really all that

If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

The word on twitter is that he hadn't turned up to training this week and wba only found out today that he was leaving. Very disappointing if true.

Not sure if that is true, but he was responsible for defensive coaching as part of his goalkeeper coaching role.
I did wonder if there were clashes between NC's ideas & those of Graeme Jones.
If it was easy, it wouldn't be Albion

Yes he seemed to have a wider role than just goalkeeping initially and inevitably will have gone down the pecking order 1 notch with the arrival of Jones or at least the dynamic of the coaching team will have changed. Typical of DM also that there didn't seem to be a hint of bitterness or resentment when he said something like 'he wanted the chance to work under Dean Smith again'.

Why did he always stand up when we had a corner when he's a goal keeping coach.

Wasn't he along with Shan in charge of set pieces at least for a while ?
