All of them would get in our Albion team,
so as much as we hate them please dont underestimate them.

i think one or two of the Albion would get into the villa team, Brunt, Odem, Mulumbu(i know thats three :-*) and if Long keeps on going the way he is, then him to.
if we improve on sundays performance i can see us getting a draw, 2.2 Long and olly

at least we'v still got our top scorer in the side in Shane long
in my opinion Petes contract has caused a bit of unrest in the dressing room, he's here for one season and gets a new 40k-50k contract, ok, he was awesome last season but look at Brunt or Ollson, they've been here a lot longer and have stayed with us through thick and thin and have been offered nowhere near what Petes getting! I'd be a bit P'd off if that happened to me!
any way, if it is ture i hope he has a speedy recovery and starts firing on all cylinders
in the mean time i'd try Cox with Long, international team mates as well as Albion team mates, could be a beautiful thing!

Where would this leave people such as Tom (D)Ross?

Potentially out of a job if matches are readily and legally available to screen in venues.

the next best thing to actually being at the game is listening to Bomber on the radio

football has been in pubs for a long time and its been streamed on the net for even longer, it hasnt just happened, the only thing that keeps fans away from games is the price, category pricing, nearly 4 quid for a pint, tea £1.80 for goodness sake
and it can be just as expensive in the pub!

now is the perfect time to play him, Norwich away, after his U21s debut, as said above he's buzzing and i for one think he should be chucked into the side

Albion Matchday Forum / Re: Respect for Stoke...
« on: September 04, 2011, 01:53:06 PM »
is there another stoke? stoke rovers? stoke united?

did you see the game last week, when stoke had the ball, the slightest touch by an Albion player and the stoke player was on the deck, no intention of trying to get forward just trying to get a free kick

when we had the ball we were hacked down

ok you got 3 points, but when you get 3 points like the way we did against Arsenal and Everton away last season you can honestly say we played well there, we were the better footballing team

all stoke can say is 3 points is 3 points and i dont care how we get them!

fair play stokie for trying to stick up for your club but come on, you do anything apart from play football to win

good luck for the rest of the season BOING BOING

Albion Matchday Forum / Re: Respect for Stoke...
« on: September 04, 2011, 12:36:46 PM »
you have to earn respect!
you dont get it by kicking the rubbish out of teams or falling over because someone breathed on you

have you ever heard the expression "bull***t beats brains"?
well stoke are the football equivalent!

« on: September 04, 2011, 12:17:58 PM »
i used to slate JP for not spending big, it really did my head in
but look at us now, strongest squad and most proven manager we've had in 25+ years
with JP running the show i can put my hand on heart and say we will never end up like portsmouth or leeds

iv voted yes because after all JP is a business man and that lot just want to make money!
hope im wrong though and he stays with us for the next 30 years
