Retail Concept Shirt
« on: February 27, 2020, 04:34:34 PM »
Just noticed that a concept shirt is for sale online in various outlets:

https://www.uksoccershop.com/p-150019/2019-2020-west-brom-home-concept-football-shirt.html

I must say it's my favourite shirt in around 40 years  ;D

Whenever I see those broad stripes, the collar and short sleeves, for some reason i think of Willie Johnstone.

I wish they would bring out more retro shirts really. I love the barcode one they sell nowadays, as well as the 78/79 top that they have redesigned.

Developing the topic a bit, which kit from our history would you like the club to sell as a retro edition?

I'd got for either the red and yellow away kit from the early 90s or at a push, the yellow and blue mid 90s away top.

Most of the classic old home kits have been available at some point. At one time you could buy the  1960's, 72-75 and 78/79 home shirts as well as the replica cup final ones from '31,'54 and '68.

The two 90's away shirts you mention come up on Ebay from time to time. Usually for about £30.

There are some extremely garish croatian shirts on that website, I might waste a few quid on one of those.

Anyone on twitter its worth looking at the shop linked to Baggies Vault , replicas of shirts from 80's and 90's . Only in limited batches so you have to be quick , think the latest is a home shirt om about '84 .
