They looked a little stale against Burnley so I'm hoping the relatively quick turnaround compounds potential Bielsa burnout at this busy time of the football calendar. Those stats posted by MarkW make for interesting reading too.

That’s what I’m hoping for too. I still believe that the lockdown worked for them more than any other team because it gave them time to recover and avoid the burnout.

Totally agree.  We came out of lockdown the worst as our ageing squad took longer to recover.  It's just nature that young creatures heal faster.

We could do with a performance like Big Daves 4-1, thats for sure.

We had very little possession in that game and I think from memory the first half was fairly even. However everytime we broke in the 2nd half we punished them and thoroughly deserved the convincing win.

In some respects a similar match mentality to Sunday.

Some suggestion Leeds are missing all four first team centre backs. Bamford facing a late fitness test too.

Not wishing ill on anyone as such, but perhaps a bit of good fortune from our perspective.

No changes for us. Makes sense and deserved.

No changes for Leeds either. Bamford fit.

Both sides unchanged from 48 hours ago.

Potential misstep? Much like after the City game not sure he could justify any changes.

Hopefully see Pereira on the hour.

It's an awkward situation.

Go with the same 11, lose, and you should have put fresh legs in. Change it, lose, and you should have stuck with the same 11.

It's games like this I'm more nervous about that Liverpool or City. It's the hope that kills you.

Hopefully see Pereira a bit earlier than on the hour.  Or are we just going to start playing for the last 30 minutes!

Understand the same team and they deserve to keep their place but would have may be gone with Periera instead of Phillips as he is more mobile possibly better suited to the quick breaks Leeds make, they are less tippy tippy than Liverpool.

Expected a few changes to give us some fresh legs. More so considering we won’t have much of the ball.

Big Sam seems to want Phillips as captain so I suppose he’s always going to start.

So, Gibbs out, Peltier in. Gibbs got hit by the ball in warm up apparently. I have no words.

What changes could he make? Just shows the paucity of options.

The game's on Talksport 2 if anyone's after live commentary.

To be fair, if the ball catches you the wrong way you can easily break or sprain a wrist.

Have a feeling that Bamford isn't shy of the odd dive in the box.
