I think Jacobs is more of an analyst looks at videos of our previous games and our opponants games and does specific training with regards to that.

Hasnt Shakespeare left Everton?

I believe he has, and my thoughts were exactly the same.  Shakespeare would be a solid #2

Very happy Baggie here!  Done all he could with a very under achieving squad.  Turned the entire place around, team, staff, fans, coaches, etc.  No one was left without a little bit of hope in the last 6 weeks of the season.  He was my first choice, although I admit i didn't think it would happen and we would end up with a continent appointment.

He has a tough job ahead of him, but one thing I've learned from the big man is he approaches everything in his stride.  Never make a mountain out of a mole hill.  He just smiles, nods and gets on with it.  Very positive person.  Never lose that Big Dave touch, and I think we are in good hands....

According to the Brum Mail Jenkins and Terranneo are in China with their proposals for the next manager.
It also says that they hope to have a new manager installed early next week, which would lead you to believe that whoever it is has already been approached.
I can't see what input Terranneo has had in this process. If indeed it is a straight run race between Darren Moore and Dean Smith we probably knew all we needed to know about the pair of them without Terranneo's help.

Honestly, I think we are all being a bit short sighted if we think they are staying on the home front looking for a manager.  With Terranneo's past success, I truly believe this will be a solid appointment.  He is also tasked with attracting players to get us the best fighting chance at an instant return to the PL.  It has to be someone he agrees with player wise, as Terranneo will have a massive hand in signings this summer.  If it is someone from our home soil, it will be the person he and Jenkins think will put us straight back in the PL, not a 'Pardew style' appointment.  It will be someone we have already approached.  My bet is on someone from the continent who has had some success, not just from the "merry-go-round".

IF we make the Great Escape pt II, it would mean both times we were managed by previous players of our club....

Personally, I would have taken off J Rod.  Rondon is getting into the game slowly.  J Rod has been missing all game

It really is hard to put into words how hard this is to watch, yet how sweet it is also.  I literally jumped up and down in my living room when Rondons header went in. I didn't stop smiling until a few minutes ago.  Then reality set in, we are all but in Championship next year.  Bittersweet pill to swallow, but its probably for the best.  We need our back room staff put in check, a few players need to be shipped out, some need renegotiating, if possible.  Obviously, I'm a HUGE Big Dave fan.  I still get goosebumps from his goal at Crystal Palace all those years ago...

Big Dave shows so much emotion on the sideline, I believe we are his club.  He HAS to stay to and be an integral part of the first team coach/assistant.  His belief in these players, whom we had all written off, has paid off for him.  It just shows what could have been.  I, for one, am glad he has restored pride in our club.  We are not a team that gives up, not since I have been watching them (age 4 on up, now 30).  He has bought back that Black Country pride with passion and fight.  I am proud to be a baggie..... No matter what!

I've said it for a long time. How we actually play doesn't latter, it's all about the results.  Get results and all is well, don't get them and it's the opposite. The style of football is just something fans moan about when things aren't going well.

It is about results... It's a results based business, I understand.  We are a little more solid at the back, passing is better, taking our time going forward and not just hoofing the ball toward Rondon and expecting him to make the difference.  We deserved the goal IMO.  To get better we have to do the basics and it looks like Big Dave has got them back to basics.

We play possession football, holding ball up, create more going forward, look the stronger team AND WE STILL MOAN?!  ???

Good goal though, well worked!

I'm sure Evans has a relegation clause in his contract, he is playing like it.

I'd agree, but instead of Evans put G Mac in there

Can you sack him on the sideline?  Absolutely awful.  I'm ashamed to be a baggie.... Get rid now, has our club in shambles.
