I just hope that any equivalent FA gig doesn't go to Jimmy bloody Bullard.

I think its great that at last Blatter is being challenged. My only concern is that so many are putting themselves forward that the votes will be spread so thinly and Blatter will sneak in through the back door. That bloke always manages to pull a stunt......

It seems there's finally an appetite within FIFA to make some serious changes to how the game is run........that's not to say they'll achieve it of course but as least there now seems a will now Blatter and some of the old guard have been ousted!

 Here we go again....

Uefa offices searched by Swiss police

The offices of European football's governing body Uefa have been searched by Swiss police.

It follows the naming of ex-secretary general Gianni Infantino - now president of world governing body Fifa - in papers leaked from Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca.

Meanwhile, a Fifa official also named in the papers - Juan Pedro Damiani - has resigned.

Infantino has denied wrongdoing while Uefa says it is helping police.

While working for Uefa, Infantino co-signed a television rights deal in 2006 with two businessmen who have since been accused by the FBI of bribery.

Cross Trading - owned by Hugo Jinkis and his son, Mariano - bought TV rights for Uefa Champions League football in 2006 for $111,000 (£78,000) and immediately sold them on to Ecuadorian TV broadcaster Teleamazonas for $311,170 (£220,000).

Cross Trading also paid $28,000 (£20,000) for the rights to the Uefa Super Cup, selling those to Teleamazonas for $126,200 (£89,000).

The contract came to light after 11 million documents were leaked from Mossack Fonseca.

And this is the reason why FIFA and UEFA both need to be dissolved and a whole new body can be started from scratch. Under every stone in UEFA and FIFA the big wigs who will be in the running for the top jobs will have some dirty laundry.

It's just rotten to the core isn't it. Every single one of them seems to have dirty fingernails.

I agree, the whole thing needs killing off and starting again as a new body.

Yep.

Until there is absolute transparency these type of revelations will continue to come to light. Boycott all FIFA and UEFA competitions and try to create a coalition of clean football associations who are willing to start again.

I know I know. Absolute no chance of happening but I bloody wish it would.
