I forgot to account for the useless goalkeeper, my bad.
No. You forgot to account for the useless manager.

Oh yes - the most important point i forgot is that what you say is gospel on this forum. Always.
You said we'd get 29 points by 2 Jan and we will. Somehow, Becausee you are always right.
I will have to curtail my doubts, and bow to your superior knowledge of the game, and how effective our beloved Mr Pulis is.

As I've said previously predictions are there to be shot down. Now I think we'll have 26 points by then  ;) :o

:) i just love your eternal optimism. I wish i could see the light that you see at the end of the tunnel, but I don't.
I think we'll be on 22 points, and on the tip of the bottom 3.

I predict if you are wrong again, it won't be your fault, and Myhill will get the blame. 😆
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

And we'll play 4-1-4-1 with Saido, Sess, McMenaman Brunty in advanced positions.
Wont we ??  Surely we will.

But 22 points from 20 games is fine for survival? Why don't you get this?  :-X

Yes, we'd need another 16-18 points from the last 18 games, which is less points  per game than we are earning now.  I get that, but the margins are going to be very tight this year. Will 38-40 points be enough?  I can see Villa and Sunderland being well adrift but 18th place may well need at least 40 points this year.

No chance. Sunderland Newcastle and Bournemouth will all finish below us.

Not Sunderland or Norwich before us? Think you're over reacting a bit - we play ugly but we've enough to finish above 4-5 others at least from what I've seen?

I hope you are correct, but your recent record isn't great.

See - you just can't help yourself. Your patronising tone again. I see others on here have kopped it too.
You're opinion isn't superior to ours, mate. Its just that, YOUR opinion.

I agree with you mate that some on this forum are patronising towards others and not readily accepting alternative views which is why I don't post much now in additional to the negative football that is being served up.

It's neither patronising or superior, it's common sense... Maybe you should get a dictionary? (now that's patronising).

So, 23 points at the halfway mark. An Okish first half of the season but still shipping too many points, especially at home. We've got to get at least 5 more wins in my opinion to see us safely over the line. I'm looking at villa, swansea, and norwich as home games we really need to target maximum points. On the road: Newcastle, Sunderland and Bournemouth we should go out to win as well. Rest are lotteries, undoubtedly we'll take some points but no doubt we'll give away some careless victories to the opposition too.

After our "nightmare run-in" last season during which we confounded everyone,  I see no point in trying to predict which particular games we will get points from.  We will win games that nobody expects us to, and slip up against those we should beat.  We are just as likely to win at Chelsea and then lose to Villa as vice versa.

With 26 points in the bag can we please go flat out for a decent Cup run?  No resting of players, no putting players in the transfer shop window, no giving squad members a rare run-out.

This is a perfect opportunity for us to have a great Cup run.  We should fear nobody, home or away.

Let's give it a bl**dy good go and aim to get to Wembley this season
