Goodbye Booby. As a player, his ability might not be the best but his attitude is first class. Wish him all he best.

Real shame. Saying that I still can't figure out if he was good enough or not. Either way he had a great attitude while he was with us and I wish him all the best.

Best of luck Bobby. Thought he may have come good this season but players aren't allowed time to settle nowadays. Hope he does well in Greece.

Shame. He seemed like a good bloke who had the clubs best interests at heart. Probably means we will be keeping Sick Vic.

Pretty much summed up my thoughts.....always quite liked him and there seemed a real striker in there but not to be in the end.
Good luck Bobby.

Not good enough for a lone striker and no no10 but best of luck bobby. Excellent attitude. If we keep saido then hopefully frees up space for a creative midfielder or quality left winger.

Don't believe he was quite £10 million which is reported, think it was closer to £4 mil with add ons.

Can any one confirm with real price we paid?

No one seemed to know so no one will be able to confirm what we paid up front for him.

I believe it was around £3-4 million plus add-ons, rising to a possible £11 million based on goals/appearances.

I can't remember who said it, but it was someone like Lekpowski or a similar reputation, so it was a pretty reliable source. I imagine a bit of the add-ons got activated, so it may have ended at around £5 million or so, either way we've either made a slight loss or break-even on him.

No one seemed to know so no one will be able to confirm what we paid up front for him.

It was represented as "Albion buy £10mill man", but later on that became apparent that it was £10mill in total, which some will see as a swizz, but I don't personally.

Given how it went, i doubt he triggered many if any clauses, so I think we only paid out the initial £6mill approx.

Therefore, given we've reportedly received €6mill (£4.4mill) I think we made a loss, but not a significant one. We tried something, it didn't work and I wish Bobby all the best as he seemed an ace guy.

We move on.
Whenever things look bad, remember the Port Vale, Grimsby and Walsall days... not so bad now, eh?!

Personally would have give him this season after last season's 'aclimatisation.
He did show there was a player in there albeit not often enough.
Got a great attitude hope he does well for the Zorbas

Surely opens the door for matt phillips or another striker?

Currently we have berahino,  rondon and sick vic.

Would love us to get rid of vic and sign austin and phillips then i think we may have a chance.

:(

Thought he was slowly getting there. Missing that sitter at Birmingham sea life centre in the cup shot his confidence too bits. Wasn't the same after.

Good luck bobby.

Not to be quite what sort of hit we've taken on him is impossible to gauge, there were certainly add-ons in the original deal so it's not a straight £6m loss. It is a great pity it didn't work out a better player than some might give him credit for but definitely the wrong player at the wrong time.

Not forgetting Lambert? Good luck Ideye but he never seemed physically strong enough for the premier league. He certainly could not play as a lone striker.
