Was Trev The Shed not the Director at Albion, Trevor Summers? Not sure?

Maybe a better story - I was sat in a bar on Zakynthos about ten years ago and got talking to this bloke about football in general.Ironically my first game in 1969 and the first goal i saw at The Hawthorns was Jeff lobbing Gordon West in the Everton goal in front of the Brummie Road end.
After a bit of chatting he told me he was Gordon West's son and had met Jeff Astle and Bomber Brown when he was a kid! What a coincidence to meet someone like that.
Anyone got any more chance meeting stories?
One of the best second halves I have seen Albion play for some time. Great to see us coming from behind which has been a problem this season. Mikey does have a left foot and what an impact he has made.Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich AlbionSunday 10th March 2024 12.000pm

Atkinson would make my top three. I don’t think I will ever witness a Baggies team with as much flair or excitement as the team he assembled. My best years as a supporter. We could beat anyone at that point and feared no one.Absolutely - fantastic days attack, attack attack - the best time to support Albion in my lifetime.
Johnny Giles too.Don Howe too!!!
Very grim. What happened in March to trigger this? Only thing I can think of is the release of the accounts.
Not sure how anyone can look at that and not understand why he's been bannedExactly. Imagine if it had happened to one of our players and the perpetrator had gone on to get an equaliser against us. We would be united in crying foul!
Dike out for 2 months, upto 3 months tops. Need a striker now.Should have got Gayle
A great show tonight.Yes I was there and it made the night especially with the out of tune Diana Ross!
Did you notice the greatest honour when our truly great striker Cyrille was mentioned and pictured on Buckingham Palace, what an honour what a man
Nice one!
I was there, only eight at the time but what a day. I still watch the highlights the pre match and post match footage still gets the tears in the eyes. A team full of character and fighters not like some of the jokers we have today. Thanks for the reminder great memories from a great day Super Bob, Clem, Big Dave and Houlty (what a keeper). Lets hope we have another one like it soon.
I agree to an extent as long as it’s just a few at a time. There is a big gap between the level that they regularly play at and the Championship. Whilst they may make good future players putting too many in at the same time too early in their development may be detrimental to them.So lets play a spine and put the kids in around them suggest Johnstone, Clarke, O'shea, Livermore (reluctantly) and Grant start. Although good case for bringing Palmer in too.
Forget a rebuild nobody is buying these mega expensive players. We will be stuck with the same gutless players next season so look forward to the same again.Surely now we play the youngsters. Lets really see how many are capable of stepping up - who knows it cannot be any worse and we might get a pleasant surprise?
