strange how early he went downhill, could he be older than claimed?

I agree that he was a hell of a player in his pomp. Amazing energy and engine.

He needed the right manager to reinvigorate him. He got Alan Irvine.

He then needed the right move. He went to Norwich.

Probably never recapture his best form now, been too long.

to be fair that goal today was a total gift, Hennessy coming flying out his area meant he couldn't shot with his hands.
Wish we would get some gifts !! Still needs to be in the right place at the right time..

The backpass reminded me of Rondon's for Leicester last season.

See, he can carry an attacking threat  :P   :P .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Former Millwall, West Brom and Reading man joins Crystal Palace as first team coach

By Robert_Warlow  |  Posted: September 16, 2017

Roy Hodgson has strengthened his backroom team at Crystal Palace with the addition of former West Brom and Millwall midfielder Steven Reid.

The 36-year-old, who has worked on Reading's coaching staff for the past two years, has been appointed as the club's new first team coach, joining Hodgson and his assistant Ray Lewington on the new coaching set-up at Palace.

This follows the departures of Orlando Trustfull, Sammy Lee and Ryland Morgans, who have all left Palace after the club parted company with Frank de Boer on Monday.

Orlando Trustfull? What a fabulous name, and how sad that his trust in Palace has been betrayed.

Best place I suppose.

Nigel Pearson has joined Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the Belgian 2nd tier.

just found out that Leicester's owner also owns OHL. Might be why they've made this agreement?
