Oooh I’d love a bit of Portugal right now. I’m off at for a Coastal run shortly and then I can’t wait to get home for a lazy day watching Baggies then the big game at the top of the Prem.

We certainly need a reaction in terms of performance today and hopefully a reaction when it comes to team selection.

Of course! Hope to see Pipa (AG!) in myself. Pieters could work there if Furlong presses and they shift to a back 3 while attacking so it could also potentially work if Ajayi comes in.

Well done Aussie, you are right of course. I actually thought he struggled defensively after coming on. I think we have to hope that Townsend is available.

At the time of posting, I wondered if people would realise who’s bore the initials AG!
Ávila Gordón, aka ‘Pipa’ is the answer. Actually, his full name is Gonzalo Ávila Gordón but how that developed into ‘Pipa’ who knows.

You may have noticed an increase in the use of initials in postings which personally I don’t like and often have to think about to whom they are referring. CC is of course obvious but others can be mind-bending so, in a small way, it was a mini-protest of the use of more obscure initials!

The bench looks like it could have more of an impact than recent weeks. Fellows and BTA vs tired legs will give any defence in this division something to think about.

A shame for Marshall. I don't love taking kids from prem clubs and the dropping them from the squad- long term you might suffer and miss on out on future players.
