With the small amount of possession we have we are always chasing the ball so it stands to sense our players would be high on that list.

Couple of things we need to note. It's no surprise that the list is dominated by midfielders but Dawson is just a little bit of an outlier. As with all football stats they would be better as an average per 90 some of the players have had about 1 or 2 whole games more on the pitch just this season. I can't be asked to correct someone's work who gets paid to do it, but I am sure the per 90 stats would paint a slightly different picture and even throw up some different names. e.g. taking two seasons excludes any player new to the league and all of Burnley's Boro's and Hull's players.

Dawson is also up and down the field a lot, either attacking or defending corners and set pieces.
Chris Brunt used to be our player that covered the most distance and completed the most passes.
In our games that is, not in the PL as an whole.

I really don't care who runs the furthest or fastest, what a complete waste of someone's time those stats are, the only stats i care about is,how many we have scored, who scored and how many we have conceded!
