Never a penalty

There was contact, the ball was pass the keeper before the contact so penno for me. If that went against us we'd all be up in arms.

Finished 2-2 I think overall it was a fair result, Aston Villa played very well in the first half, but Liverpool were very poor and that's the worse I've seen Gerrard. Stoke looked poor at Crystal Palace today what a big win that was for Norwich too against Hull
Hoping for Spurs and Chelsea wins tomorrow.

Wasn't a penalty in my opinion, so called experts saying he is entitled to go down as there is contact which is absolute bulls**t. Going down just because you have been clipped is diving as there is no way the contact made was enough to bring him down.

Sherer thinks clean tackles are pens so he is about as objective as the Daily Mail.

Blatant dive.

It really annoys me too, these days any contact in the box is a penalty, when was that ever the case?

I think Villa did well and are always setup to do better away from home/against the better clubs though.

Clear penalty, if it had been Kevin Phillips and not Luis Suarez there wouldn't be a discussion.

I think it was a penalty as it looked like there was contact, however, it was an over-the-top fall and it looked as though the ball was going out of play. You've seen them given and you've seen the player booked for diving.

dont ask me to choose luv

It was a penalty but the modern day sort where the player leaves his leg behind knowing the keeper will make contact allowing the forward to go flying down as though he's been shot.

It's a contact sport, contact doesn't mean it's a foul. That little touch did not bring Suarez down he flung himself down as he felt the contact.

Something I mentioned earlier in another thread about a team favoured for TV games. I have noticed now that including the Spurs game today, Swansea have been on tele every home game against the top 7 which is ridiculous really, the schedule they serve up really frustrates me a lot of the time.

Onto the game, perhaps a little harsh that Spurs are in front but its the result we need, so I will take it.

I dont think any of the officials have a clue what there doing, wasnt a red card for me for vidic and earlier on that spurs player who got given offside when he was about two yards onside, beyond a joke now.
