Half-time comment on viletalk...I think this was the bad half from the Villa. In the second half we will take the game to them and show no respect. The probable end score is 5-1, while a sixth is controversially blown off for offside. Good times!

They really shouldn't be free to roam the streets.

And how is this a good result for us?! Makes it even harder to catch the top 2 now. At best i wanted a draw for leeds, now we are 6 points behind them and 5 behind norwich because of their jammy winners. Argh  >:(

Granted very early days but that game sums up my view on Smith and the one thing that  didn't tick the box for me when linked with our job , defending.
Without doubt his sides play with pace , energy and swagger but they always seem to let soft goals in and at bad times.

If you're unable to get pleasure out of Villa throwing away a 2-0 lead at home to lose then there's no helping you  ;D

Haha ive just got my negative head on but ultimately i dont want us to lose sight of the top 2. Overall, halfway through the season we are a good position! As others say, it is nice to see them lot bottle it!

Leeds are fantastic - I love watching them play. Bielsa is a breath of fresh air.

Also good to see them bringing through so many youngsters from their academy. Going about it the right way in my view

It's up to us to go up automatically ( beat Leeds and Norwich and the 6 points have gone)..would rather have had a draw from both their games...but it's a sad day if we can't laugh at the Vile....🤣

Why on earth was I reading earlier people wanting the Vile to win?

There is plenty of time for us to catch Leeds, and we will, but it's the Vile...we should never be wanting them to win. The only dilemma arises when they play the Dingles.

Closing the gap on Leeds would have been nice but equally having the Villa drop further behind us isn't a terrible outcome. On top of that we get bonus laughs at Villa's expense because of the manner of the defeat. What is there not to like?

Ultimately automatic promotion will only achieved if we get the points needed which is 2 points a game across 46 games if 2 teams have stellar seasons and do better than that well good luck to them.

The best result was a draw. Worst result villa win as we needed them to lose momentum. Never want villa to win unless it's 100% necessary for Albion. Leeds have Blackburn at home and Norwich have forest next so still chance over xmas for us to gain ground on them. Then Norwich have derby.
O Albion we love you
