The Omens were apparent..... I took the dog for a walk early evening in Mindarie, West Australia about an hour before kick off. There’s a Wolves fan that lives nearby and we walked past his house and the dog took a huge **** up his car with a Wolves sticker on it......written in the stars ......😛

What a statement to make   ;D  ;D

"Joao - done, set pieces are ****, doesnt pass over 5 yards/backwards. bullied today by the imperious duo of Livermore and Sawyers - 3"

His guide dog must have got out the house at 12:25pm

I've yet to watch the 2nd half but even still i can't see them pair being imperious in it.

They've fully lost it mate.

They were both woeful, can only hope he was being facetious to make the player he was critiquing sound worse.

How I wish we could have been there, coming out of the custard bowl singing " The Black Country's our's, the Black Country's ours".  It would have been bostin.   ;D ;D ;D

Didn't really expect that when you consider our current form, but after watching it on BT I thought we deserved it. Still a bit light weight in the tackle at times, and let them have too many chances for my liking.

This now gives us something to build on, surely, can the great escape be on?

Sawyers who has been struggling this season actually played well in 2nd half.

Livermore and Sawyers shouldn't even be allowed to be ball boys.
That's some comment from someone who listened to the game on the radio.
Livermore worked tirelesly for the team today , and the stats say he covered more ground than anyone else from either team, but that doesn't matter does it?

That's part of the problem. Runs around a lot, having no positive impact on the game. Costs us the 2nd goal by missing a simple header. Cant pass for toffee. Some bright spark stats guy sees his running numbers, tells the manager, in the team next time. Repeat ad nauseum.

I’m absolutely delighted with that - we were organised and dare I say composed both defensively and going forwards.

I did fear at half time that their heads might drop and we would be on the back end of a hammering. I totally did not expect that second half.

Bartley and Ajayi were immense. Gibbs also had a good game despite getting rinsed by Troare - no shame in that.

Snodgrass had a solid debut and Pereira looked more like his old self.

The midfield axis definitely needs work as Sawyers was beyond awful but we’re over the line and quite frankly at this moment in time I don’t care.

Gerrit up ya!!

Surprising comment as both did well today, the only praise I can see on the Molineaux Mix is for them. Reckon they closed down their creative play. Didn't see it myself but I will take it.

What a win!!
Thought we were done after 2-1 but the team did well to comeback!
Still many works to do to stop those sloppy goals conceded.
But let's celebrate the win first. ;D

He really didnt. Watch that block from Bartley again and watch Sawyers attempt or should I say non attempt at a challenge. That really wont do.

I just find it hilarious that they have waited 9 years for us to play again, we roll up at the custard bowl with several key players out and still do them over  :D

I think it’s fair to say, he was better in the second half as it would have been very difficult for him to have be worse.

But for me, he is always playing on his heels, which gives his opponent the advantage
