Gutted for Bournemouth? LOL...what about Brentford who missed a 90th minute penalty to go up!

This is why we love and hate football so much....

That was one of the most ultimate devastating conclusion I have ever seen in football.

I really hope Brentford can get their selves up through the play offs, I just don't see it though after that blow.

Would hate to be that penalty taker right now.......

The thing is the players all squabbled over who should take it despite the gaffer (Uwe Rosler) having told them previously who the designated taker should be. The guy who took it wasn't the designated taker. Rosler wasn't a happy man about this.

A great win for Burton last night at Bradford, could never imagine a club of there size been in Leauge one, but the likes of Stevenage, Dag and Red have been there.

Bradford currently beating Burton 3-1 with 20 minutes to go. Bradford have just had a simply amazing season. I didn't think they would make the play offs a few weeks ago.

Really happy with the finalists for both the League 1 and League 2 play offs, especially with Brentford today.
Great signs of recovery not only from the last game of the season drama but also the fact another last minute goal against them today, that would have killed a lot of teams.

I hope they can get the win at Wembley and promotion for Rosler.

I like both the teams in the League 2 Final so not sure about that one.

Really wanted my current local team Burton to get to Wembley so not too happy with Bradford !

Want Yeovil to do it tomorrow after the smashing visit we had there at the start of the season when the local gave us a great and friendly welcome all round - even stood and applauded us on the coaches as we left post game !

What a season Bradford have had they finished 17th last season, and this season has been such a turnaround for them Carling Cup final beating three Premiership teams, and now promotion which seemed a long way off for them a few weeks ago.

Missed the game but well done to Bradford - they've had an excellent season.

Like AlbionBest, hoping Yeovil can do the business tomorrow. Expect Brentford to strengthen in the summer given their wealthy backer if they do not get promotion which will not only increase the competition in league one but be more of a challenge to Wolves who are also in league one next season (just reminding you)  :D

Unfortunately, expecting Brentford to win 3-0.

Just been to Wembley today following Yeovil Town! Great atmosphere in the Green and White Barmy Army, very much real football. The whole of Somerset seems to be celebrating. They had one of the smaller lge 1 budgets and crowds averaging less than 4500, so staying in the Championship will be a big ask for Yeovil Town. We really had to grind it out as Uwe Rossler's Brentford through everyhting at us in the 2nd half, but couldn't square things up. The Yeovil ethic would have seen Wo1ve5  safely securing their Championship berth for next season, but Brentford will come strong again if they can hold on to their players.
YTFC- great atmosphere in the club and fans, still talk about our match when we beat them 4-2! Marek Stech their keeper had a top game too - no dropping the ball for Shane Long!

@Walkerpw: Michael Appleton will be Interviewed for the #sufc job tmrw. Page and Downes is the alternative which still seems most likely #twitterblades

Be interesting to see what happens there. They've already been turned down by Karl Robinson, Stuart McCall, Gareth Southgate and Graham Arnold. Don't see Appleton getting the job either meaning they'll appoint Page and Downes - if those two cannot be agreed then they will end up with Chris Morgan. It makes their decision to sack Danny Wilson towards the end of the season even more stupid.

I've seen many fans suggesting that they are the club to stop the Wolves from achieving promotion. Putting it simply, Sheffield United shall be in that division for the foreseeable future. They are running loses and the budget is being cut again with more cut backs expected in the playing squad - most notably the potential sales of their biggest assets Chris Morgan and George Long.

The sides to watch out for will be Peterborough and Bristol City - United shall flirt with the play-offs but their problems off the field shall hamper them again. They missed their chance the season before last.

For those unaware, Paul Walker is a local journalist in Sheffield.

Michael Appleton won't be getting the Sheffield United job.

According to the local journo's up there they are close to appointing David Weir - the ex Rangers and Everton defender.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how League One pans out this season. Despite the fact that I dont want Wolves to go up Kenny Jackett is a very good manager and they do have some players that should do well at this level. Looking forward to seeing how David weir gets on with Sheffield United.  Be interesting to see how Brentford get on this season after coming so close last season. I think Bristol City could make the play offs, Seam O Driscoll has done well at getting Doncaster out of this division. I expect a tough season for the likes of Coventry and Preston.

Not looking too good for them

Sky Sports News ?@SkySportsNews 1m

Coventry City Ltd go into liquidation #SSN

I would assume that Coventry City LTD are the holding company of the football club which means the football club remains but the holding company has been liquidated - least it saves the actual club going extinct.

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/live-coventry-city-fc-creditors-5430930

Liquidation would see them start the season with a -15 point penalty.

So many clubs mess about with ownership and end up like this, shame. Better the devil you know sometimes, he may frustrate us at times but with JP at the helm we will never see these headlines about us thankfully.
