In the short term, he seems a decent prospect who could hsve a big impact on our push for promotion. West Ham played him enough times last season to suggest he has something about him and he could very well be perfect for this level.

As for medium to long term, if we also sign Pereira and Willock, on top of what we already have, it comes across as the club having no long term plans for the academy prospects coming through which is hugely dissapointing.

Will know soon enough.

Well him comIng in let's sam and leko out. I would rather we have somebody else's player be 4th choice than our own prospect.
O Albion we love you

Many hammers fans not happy about this should be a good sign we have a decent player on our hands.

Hammers fans not happy that he’s gone on loan, some day he’s ready for premier league football.

Sounds promising.

Welcome kid.

Edwards first team.  Leko not good enough.  Tulloch too young.

Hope we don't end up in a Barnes situation again with his recall clause in the loan deal.

I really like the look of this kid and think he certainly has the potential to replicate what Barnes did last year and, if he does, there is every chance they will have him back. Difference is we have better cover this time.

Of all 6esterdays signings this is the one I am most interested in. Already good enough to have made several Prem league appearances for an ambitious club he has the potential to storm this league imo

He's not here to warm the bench mate, he'll want to play, WH will want him to play and Bilic obviously thinks he's good enough.
Look over your shoulder Matty Phillips.

Phillips always looks like he's blowing out of his backside after 60 mins, so at least we could introduce someone with pace. Or have Phillips come on for Diang after 60 mins. Either way it's a good problem to have.

I think I read somewhere that he can also play through the middle so he might be an extra option there too.

Sounds about right.

Pleased to see some of the comments regarding West Ham's supporters feelings on this guy. Exciting.

Exiting player and looks like a quality addition to the side.
Fear he will be this seasons Harvey Barnes, plays good enough for a recall in January.

For Goodness SNAKE!!!

Let's just hope they don't.  But with him being called up to the England squad, I hope we will start to look for a back up in Jan.

Getting a severe case of deja vu here.

Let's hope with Bilic in charge that it will help things with his past West Ham links.
