First half very clinical some great goals scored today. As expected we dropped off. No issue with making the subs keeping players as fresh as possible. Diakte a solid game very much reminds me of Mulumbu.

We are definitely going to win as I can't make it  as I'm going to see The Damned in Leeds. The last home game I missed was the 4-1 over Blackburn last season.

I saw the Damned friday night, they were on great form. Enjoy the gig coyb.

I genuinely can't remember any of these wins! I remember the 2-2 under Moore with the late Harvey Barnes equaliser but that's it. I'd also add Burnley to another tough away ground.

Also the 3-0  win during covid times too. I remember Dichio scoring I a 1-1 draw too.

Based on what I’ve seen and read, it seems like Jon Walters has made this decision, or at least heavily influenced it.

This is the same Jon Walter’s who may end up being good as a technical director but to date did 6 months in the role at fleetwood during 22-23 and then arrived at Stoke   this year.

As it happens I’d have taken Schumacher when we last had the vacancy, probably over Corberan. Clearly I’d have got that wrong!

They have made some very questionable decsions regarding managers over the last few years. Only less than a year since they sacked Alex Neil.

Three great goals and a clean sheet away from home cant ask for much more than that.

Bartley a real leader today. Some great build up play from Maja, Fellows etc

Only five games in. No BTA Yoksulu or Townsend and we look much better without them.

Three excellent finishes from his Yesterday. Made up for him. Read that he is the first Albion player to score a hatrick on the opening day since 1934-1914 season.

A likeable lad, who scored some great goals for us. For 200k it was a great piece of business from us and to sell for making a profit is also a big plus. All the best BTA apart from us.

A  very big point. Two excellent goals and a fair bit of luck. We were far from our best. But we stuck at it and come away with a point at a team who are on good form. A game less and another point further from the chasing pack.

Again another big win. Looked very controlled for seventy minutes. Some goal from Johnston who is turning out to be an excellent signing.

Mowatt was excellent. Grade quiet game but a nice finish.

A really nice little cushion .

A massive win.

Three goals a clean sheet. The subs making big impact once again.

If we can navigate the next two games which are going to be very tough. We will be in a nice position for the final run in.

Poor night all round. Ref was poor for both sides. The three subs that we made killed us. Having said that. They looked very good calm composed and very slick. To think they lost every game in September.

Another huge win. A clean and sheet snd a couple of tidy finishes

Our January loans have been a lot more miss than hit over recent years. But three goals from two of our loaness a good start.

Has a player so young had so many terrible injuries ?I'm absolutely gutted for him.

Just a few singles left. So should be on for another sell-out.

I counted the remaining seats left earlier in the week. Just under 600 left. So I'd imagine very few remain.

I'm going back further but a 1 month loan deal for Uwe Rostler who I believe did actually score!

He sure did against Forest. One of the seventeen one nil.wins we had in that wonderful season.

Sandro
Bartosz Åšlusarski
Andwélé Slory

Forgot about quite a few of the names that have been mentioned so far.

Mowbray gone !

Can we class this as us sacking another manager? I think that's a very poor decision from Sunderland. Only three points from play offs.

A really good win. And boy was that some goal. Its incredible to see what Carlos has done with this team. So many injuries he has to contend with and the points tally is one of the best around. Another clean sheet too.

Saturday feels like a free hit now.

I rather enjoyed that. Apart from the awful commentators on sky my god they are so boring.

Phillips was excellent. Some shaky moments and some luck Coventry spent eight million quid on that bloke that missed that sitter.

Grady starting to look like the player we saw a few years back. The Asante sub was a great change as it also brought Wallace into the game.

Reminds me of the Wigan and Hiddersfield home games last season. However a win and a clean sheet. I'll take that all day long.

Still fairly early days but I wasn't expecting to see both Kipre and Mowatt have such a big impact on a season so far.

I'll take that all day long. A very solid point at a place where we have an awful record. To absorb some of the pressure we did and to fight it out, shows a lot.

I cant see many 0-0 this season.

Agreed. He's nowhere near a Koumas for example. Despite the stats I've been disappointed with him overall. If we got a decent bid for him I'd be happy to see him go personally. You either need grafters or real quality and he has neither IMO.

I think Swift has done ok, was hoping a bit more from him. The problem is I doubt it very much we get anyone better than him, and i dont see a Premiership team taking him either.

All in all we were pretty poor today. Looked tired at the end weren't really bothered. We miss far too many chances.

Wallace has been really poor today.
