That's the thing about pride, it comes before a fall. Football goes in cycles and we'll have our turn again. At some point in the as yet undetermined future.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Indeed. The opening quote of this thread states "Really is there cup final on sunday." Things have indeed gone in a cycle.

That future best get a move on, as my determined future is rushing forward at an uncontrollable rate.

Wolves have begun talks to sign Aaron Ramsey

A very decent acquisition for them if it comes off

If I were part of the Inland Revenue and Customs I'd be taking a very close look at their accounting practices........

Grasping at straws me thinks. Whether we like it or not, it's a well run club and their owners have ambition to challenge at the top end of the Premiership.Best we can hope for at this point is survival in the Chumpionship. I fear for next season... no doubt they'll be in Europe while we'll be fighting a relegation battle.

There Deluded one ringer on WM just stated Lage has to go, half There squad has to go. Mate your 8th calm down, it's at times like this Albion should be getting promoted beating them to keep them in check and then either staying up or going back down.

Super agent Rioala has died today which may impact the Wolves as he often had a hand in their dealings with Portugal etc.

Jorge Mendes is the super agent who Wolves have a murky relationship with (I believe he's involved with FOSUN somehow)

That maybe fake it was posted a few days ago which Rioala denied or his Team at least. So it maybe fake. Edit OK it is true this time BBC Sport saying it hadn't heard it on the Radio yet again it is WM. Maybe it will be mentioned on 5 Live. Shouldn't affect Wolves Mendez is there Agent/scout buy he may have had dealings with Rioala or been part of his group.

John Percy just tweeted

#Wolves have now total agreement on a £27.5m deal to sign Valencia striker Gonçalo Guedes, who will have a medical on Monday. A long-term target for Bruno Lage. Personal terms all sorted #wwfc

Loaning out their captain Coady to Everton for a season. Something bizarre about that.

I’m not sure. It might do wolves a favour.

Speaking to my wolves mates the opinion is that Lage supports a back four. That does not support Coady who looks better in a back five.

He will never play in midfield ahead of Moutinho or Neves so his eventual sale might force a change in culture.

Lage was influential behind Carlos Carvahal playing a back four at Sheff Wed - often against his wishes

Does anyone know what the issue was between Lage and Marsch at the end of the recent Leeds v Wolves?

Marsch, who comes across as calm and controlled was not happy with Lage at the end

The argument could have something to do with Hwang's play acting right in front of the 2 benches, where he went down holding his face for no apparent reason.

Read the post match report on the BBC. Lage was claiming someone from the Leeds dugout was being insulting and derogatory, no apology was offered at the time and he basically wasn't very happy by full time. No idea what was actually said.

Wow... now they've announced Matheus Nunes as a record signing. Some player he is.... Pep described him as one of the best in the world. Might be a very long time before we play them again the way this is going.
