I think the same way as you do on this fella, he would be a solid appointment for them.

Hard to judge him on his Villa career as they were a club in decline, you could have put any manager in there and they wouldnt have stopped the rot they were in

Look where Villa are now he has left.

Lambert seems to be on the slide following his Villa and especially Blackburn experiences. A lot of managers struggle to turn it around once they've failed once or twice....time will tell.

Not actually true. He was put in the villa job to slash the wage bill and keep them up, he did both. He's yet to fail as a manager and unfortunately I think he has the ability to get wolves back in the P.league within 18 months.

He won`t do it in the next 18 months because i don`t think he will get the job i believe it will be someone outside there short list.

Not with a board who will impose a load of average portugese players on him.

Only hope they have is enough good kids come through the club and he can meld them with the boards acquisitions - real trick to pull off, I doubt that it can be done personally.

All the staff mendes brought have started to leave the wolves so maybe they're going back to the drawing board.

Hard to judge Lambert on his last two roles as both have been with clubs riddled with off the field issues. He was brought into Villa to slash the wage bill and keep them up - in fairness, despite playing some morbid football he managed to do that successfully.

Out of the list of names considered then Lambert is their best shot.

Personally I'm hoping its Sherwood or Ince. Hearing Sherwood talking about his win percentage having lost 2-0 away at Burton may be quite funny

I wasn't aware of that, living in a dingle free zone.
I do like the idea of Paul Ince taking over though, it would be a marriage made in heaven.

I seem to remember wolves fans gloating in the summer about how much they had spent, at the moment it looks like money down the drain  ;D.

No tears shed for me if they dropped, not a club I like very much, the 5-1 still makes me smile nearly 5 years back.

Just above the drop.
If Cardiff had managed a point, they would have been in the bottom 3

They are rubbish.

My mates could not believe how bad they were yesterday - said that Wednesday could have had five or six and it wouldn't have flattered them.
