Just saw this on molmix and thought it worthy of sharing, its regarding Kenny the coats current position,

We should approach Mourinho and issue him with the biggest challenge of his life. 'Show us that you're the "Special One" by stepping out of the high-financed, elite world of Premier-League (and the European equivalents) and showing what you can make out of a big club that has no immediate prospects, at this time, of anything other than mid to lower-table Championship football. We give you three seasons to bring European football to Molineux, Jose

comedy gold - literally (even if it is tongue in cheek)
the road to the summit has dips, keep the faith when navigating those dips !!

Villa are our main rivals at the minute because we are in the same league...same as we are with them. However, once we are back in the same league as Wolves, for me they will always be our main rival, and Blues will always be Villa's main rival.

Suppose it depends on where you were brought up etc...living in Wall Heath/Kingswinford, its very much Albion and moreso Wolves territory.

I have to say though, I think it could be a while before we play the Wolves in the league again...same goes with Blues, and if when Villa go down, there current squad doesn't strike you as one that will definitely bring them back up! It could be a while before we have a decent derby again (providing we don't collapse!)

And Villa will always be our main rival for me.

Villa v Blues only became a big game in the 80's, Albion, Villa and Wolves have always enjoyed a fierce rivalry due to being top flight opponents for the majority of the clubs lifetime.

As i was always taught growing up by my Dad who was born and bred in Warley....Son, you pity the Wolves and you HATE the Villa

I think it's a generation thing. I hate the Wolves (born 1986) but just dislike the Villa although I'm loving their current predicament.  ;D

Same with me...born in 1985...its only really been the last few years where they have been a genuine rival in my lifetime. In the 90s, we were dreadful and played them once...and up until a few years ago, they were challenging top 6 whilst we were bouncing between the Championship and Premier. To be fair, growing up there weren't that many Villa fans in my area - everyone seemed to be Albion or Wolves (apart from the Liverpool/Man Utd brigade)

I have started to get a real dislike for the Villa, especially since I have started working in Brum, and am absolutely loving their demise, given how smug and up their own backside they are...but then I find that with Wolves fans too, and for me they will always be our main rival.

Can't have a main rival that for the most part doesn't care about you. It's the Dingles in my humble.

They say they dont care....

A lot of the Villa lads I know do see the Bluenoses as their main rival....but these lads also grew up supporting Liverpool till age 14!!

A lot of the older generation of Villa fans I know see us as their main rivals

Me too, always hated the Watton Winkers with a passion. I keep looking at their points total to reassure myself I'm not dreaming.
