Chris Wood the Marquee signing for Wolves :)

They could do a lot worse. Really hope not.

There's a baggies fan registered on moron mix, user name 'one too many', who likes to defend the Albion against some of their more rabid posters, fair play for fighting the good fight behind enemy lines as it were ... current hypocrisy going on is Wolves fans calling us fickle for turnaround in attitudes since Lescott signed compared to the meltdown after Irvine's appointment ... not as if there's been a change in attitude over there since they won a few games, they rounded up 30K of the Saido's at the end of the season compared to 4K earlier in the season for a cup replay, how many said they'd never go again as long as Morgan and Moxey were in charge?

I personally have written much against the Irvine appointment and stand by it all, the appointment still makes little sense to me, a guy that's not been a success as a manager at a lower level is selected to manage at a higher level? where's the logic? ; though I do think Lescott's signing has given a little insight into the seeming madness of the appointment; apparently he was a key factor in Lescott signing ... so in this case its a case of clarifying the decision, and returning some hope, through a quality signing, and talk of more to follow, that has calmed the Baggies fans more than pure fickleness.

It was their U21s + trialists, to be fair.
Steve Bull is a merchant who specialises in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. He wears the headgear one would associate with this trade. He spent years in the first team of a Staffordshire-based club. And he is not a very nice man.

;D Isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of their Academy, I agree, but still doesn't have the hilarity value of, say, this old chestnut: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/3099713.stm

Haven't really paid much attention to that lot recently, but I gather there are tumbleweeds blowing through the transfer department at the moment.  They want Chris Wood, but Wood seems to want the chance to prove himself in the Prem, and might end up staying at Leicester till at least January if he gets his wish.  Otherwise, with Championship FFP rules in place, I don't think there's a lot that Wolves can really do until they get rid of "the bomb squad", and that's going to be damn near impossible.  And to think how proud they were back when they first signed the likes of Johnson and O'Hara, only to see them become the world's most expensive millstones...

Jamie O'Hara would like to say a big thank you to all you 6 fingered inbreds for paying my mortgage for the last 12 months whilst I've been sat on my backside. Beautiful house and it's bigger than your new stand :D

Got to feel some sympathy for them as fans though with the likes of O'Hara, although why he was offered such an extension is just weird - because at the time he had a history of injuries...

Not a jot of sympathy, I'd love them to go the way of a Portsmouth.
