Edwards was on the bench. Wilson has only started training with them a few days ago as he was away with England.

Bristol City were really impressed with Leko. Only taken off because he was knackered.

My mistake! They have 19 out of 21 points so i'm guessing the lads may have to bide their time. Glad to hear Leko is doing well. Harper went off after 45 minutes for Blackburn.

Harper being hooked at half time was supposedly due to a groin injury, might be nothing as it sounds more like a precaution.

Brilliant quote from their manager -
Jonathan Leko is like the Lord of the Dance and I would hate to be a defender playing against him.

I noticed that. On their forums there is a lot of love for him.
Quotes claiming they will look back in 10 years and be able to talk about how he once played for them are an example.

It is great to see that both him and Roberts are tearing it up.
I think we need to be re-signing Roberts as soon as possible as he is out of contract in the summer and up to 4 clubs are apparently sniffing.

Is Roberts on season long loan or back in Jan, read conflicting reports. Lots of interest in the guy, we need to get him signed up especially as he is likely to be involved in the Wales senior squad.

When first reported it was a Loan till Jan only

What for? Better off where he is unless a Championship team wants to take him until June.

All we need to worry about this season is whether to extend his contract.

Leko an unused sub at Bristol today, and haven't seen him mentioned recently. Has the early euphoria faded or has he been injured?

Using him as an impact sub. Don't think he's going to make it. Not with us anyway.

Harper sent off for Blackburn. 3-0 up and got himself in all types of trouble at the back

Pulled him down, definite foul but not a rugby tackle.

The Crewe boss has come out and said he thought Harper was unfortunate to be sent off.

Debatable foul but not really making an attempt for the ball (the rule nowadays is you have to make a play for the ball). Doubt it will be rescinded. Not sure what he was doing there in the first place though!

Of well, it's already de-escalated from a rugby tackle so you never know  ;D  ;) .

No attempt to play the ball and denied a goal scoring opportunity, so by the letter of the law a red card. Not much in it for me though.

Was just a clumsy challenge really after he knew he had all kinds of ****ed it.

I would blame the striker in fairness, he should have got the shot away before Harper got anywhere near him again.
