I think he has scored five goals now.
He's scored the same number of goals as Kevin Doyle then. (There's the interesting fact of the day)

just seen his goal on sky could be a center forward in disguise a poachers goal. would we sell for big money now or later

He is worth keeping, his defending will improve all the time as he is playing regularly now, and the fact that he is a goal scoring option is also why he is highly rated.

http://www.wba.co.uk/news/article/hurst-rejoins-shrews-on-loan-737846.aspx

James Hurst has joined Shrewsbury Town on a youth loan until April 30th. Somehow I don't think he is in the clubs future plans.
I've got those West Bromwich Blues!

http://www.wba.co.uk/news/article/sawyers-seals-saddlers-switch-739283.aspx

ROMAINE Sawyers has today joined League One Walsall on loan until April 27.

The 21-year-old striker joins the 8th-placed Saddlers ahead of tomorrow’s trip to fellow playoff-contenders Yeovil.

And Sawyers, who experienced first-team football during loan spells at Port Vale and Shrewsbury Town, will be doing his upmost to help Dean Smith’s side secure a playoff place.

I think this is probably the natural progression for that group of players, people such as Sawyers, Hurst, Kemar Roofe,  Kayleden Brown, possibly Scott Allan too, lads who have been around for a while, are early 20's now but never really troubled the first team, i think they will go on loan / get released in the summer, drop down a level or two and try and work there way up.

Not saying you are written off at 20 / 21, far from it but with the likes of Thorne, Donovon Daniels, Abil Nadi, Berainho, Izzy Brown, all a couple of years youngers or same age being  highly thought of and involved in first team squads the lads mentioned at the top probably need to go somewhere and play every week for a couple of years and go from there, it will do them good as short loan spells and reserve team football just isnt the same.

Hope it works out for all of them

I'm surprised its only on loan and we didn't look to sell him. He wasn't even getting in the match day squads last season when academy players were. Clearly not worked out as we'd hoped.

It's been mentioned his only issue is his effort off the ball, we didn't select Yassine for the same reason. the talent is evidently there though so I'd think this is a kind of last chance for him to bring his effort up, he'll have to work to be consistently good in the championship. If he does good and learns, we offer an extension. if he doesn't then he's released.

Just goes to show how far they have fallen and how far we've come. Gets him off the wage bill. Fair enough
Whenever things look bad, remember the Port Vale, Grimsby and Walsall days... not so bad now, eh?!

Looks like a perfect move for Allan, he dropped down to league one last season with mk dons and pompey and now gone to the blues for a year so its another progressive step in his career in England hopefully he can impress and fight for a first team spot next year, seems like a similar path to what George Thorne has been on

Is Garmston the lad who is very fast? Interesting that he got a League One loan at 18.

Slightly off topic I know but this lad showed up on the squad list on Fifa13 and he has been a revelation for me ;D ;D ;D

Hoping for good things from this lad

He was 2nd in the 200m English Schools Championships in 2008. He's rapid. He also went to my school.

Garmston played well at Hereford last week. Looked decent, probably a bit better going forward as seems to be the norm.

I assume he can be recalled at very short notice if needed but still a little strange to loan him out unless Foster is closer to returning than we thought.
