In fairness whether he likes it or not I think that's the stage where he finds himself...... minus the Zimmer frame of course 

It's a pity the lightbulb doesn't appear to have sparked into life yet as there's very definitely a player in there.

I’ve not seen him play a lot but from what I’ve seen he has some tricks and the potential to entertain but so do many beach footballers. It remains to be seen whether he can become a long term professional player. I hope he can but it takes much more than he seems to offer.

The area he is from apparently has a huge Anglo-Portgueuse population.

At 21 I'd expect him to be tearing up the national league now if he is going to transition into a championship player, but if he has a good season on loan there then it's worth persisting and allowing him to grow into a league player and assess again in a year or two.

I feel sorry for him more than anything, at 22 he's still young and based on this may have to look at a more stable career for his future. It's weird because I think it was Steve Bruce who played him for 20 minutes at home and if I remember correctly we lost that game. However, I remember coming away thinking he looked half decent. It shows you can't judge a player on a 20 minute appearance

Watched him in the U23 final against dingles couple of seasons ago and he looked out of his depth there to be honest
