Majority would be under U.K. law because the club operates within the U.K., and its legal and financial matters are subject to U.K. jurisdiction. There will be some considerations to Chinese law like ownership transfers and taxation. If it’s an international buyer with foreign finance then there might be another countries laws to consider but with the amount of international transactions like these that go on it shouldn’t provide too many hurdles.

Poor showing so far. Hard to argue with the score. Hopefully Jed sorts himself out soon, shadow of a player we know he can be. It’s too easy for Huddersfield at the moment

You can tell this lad has a bit about him. Hopefully we can get him as match fit as possible, judging by comments might not be able to get consistent 90 minutes out of him but seems like a great option to have at this level

Hello Baggies! I'm writing an article on Zoltan Gera's time in England and would love to get some input from the fans at WBA. Is Gera a player that is still remembered? What are your feelings about him when he played for West Brom? I want my article to be more about the man and not just a footballer. Please give me anything that comes into your mind. Thank you so much in advance!

A tweet I saw sums it up pretty well in my opinion, he’s probably not the man we want but possibly the man we need. Appointing someone like Carrick would have been admitting promotion is out of the equation, Bruce is a safe option as he could potentially rejuvenate the squad and help get us promoted, if not then he’ll either get one more crack at it the year after or will go in the summer. I think our problems are much more than a manager at this point to be honest.

His managerial record just prior to his sacking at Newcastle. If he is appointed hopefully he can avoid spells like he’s had up the North East.

“Bruce’s career shows an almost equal win-loss record, with 373 wins and 364 defeats in his 999 games – 37.3 and 36.4 per cent respectively – with 262 draws (26.2 per cent).

His 29.2 per cent win rate with the Magpies is the lowest of his career, marginally worse than the 29.6 per cent in an eerily similar spell with North East rivals Sunderland exactly a decade previously.

Sunderland, Jun 2009-Nov 2011: 98 games, W29, D28, L41
Newcastle, Jul 2019 to date: 96 games, W28, D28, L40
His best ratio came in a very short spell with Crystal Palace, where he won 11 of 18 games or 61.1 per cent, while he won 46 of 102 games with then-Championship side Aston Villa – 45.1 per cent, his highest ratio when spending at least a season with a club.

His longest and arguably most successful spells came with Birmingham and Hull, with 260 games in charge of Blues from 2001 to 2007 including 97 wins (37.3 per cent). He led the club to promotion and established them as a mid-table Premier League side, before bouncing back from an eventual relegation to return to the top flight.

He also took Hull back to the Premier League and then, for the only time in the club’s history, to an FA Cup final and a brief flirtation with European football. In 201 games from 2012 to 2016, his Tigers enjoyed a 40.8 per cent win rate.”

the longer it goes on, the longer it makes you wonder if they are just going to try and limp along/ride the vitriol to the summer to get to this alleged "break clause" in his contract.

Depressingly this has Albion written all over it

But why would "he who can not be named" leave his current club to come here?

Hard to see why he would to be honest

Fulham got the lead because the ref gave them a penalty that should not have been given, that is nothing to do with doing your homework.

Theron we were chasing the game with inferior players to them.

Of course the manager should be criticised for playing Livermore, Phillips and Hugil when we have better players on the bench

I’d disagree. The Birmingham & QPR games I think we were quite lucky to win, QPR in particular. Stoke sussed us out as did Swansea today. Poor and similar performances against Preston, Derby & Millwall don’t inspire me with confidence from my original point. Undeniably we’ve had a good start to the season but performances & results from the QPR game in general until now have been far from impressive.

Fulham are a better team than our first eleven and then you compound that by the manager getting his selection wrong and then the ref gifting them an opening goal and the final result was inevitable.

It’s not a case of who’s got the best 11 players though. We’ve lost to teams who’ve had “inferior” players. It’s about adapting at this level, it feels like this game plan backfires if we’re playing a team that has done their homework on us and gets a lead. Today was a mixture of a lack of quality, game plans and luck from refereeing decisions. It’s worrying that we’re not proactive and trying to address the deficiencies in our game which is mostly on the defensive side with the high line in my opinion- teams have sussed it out.

Very good start to the season hope it continues, been involved in a goal every 104 minutes, nearly one every game. Still feel he’s got a couple of gears in him and room to improve, very surprised at the dribbling statistic

Wondering how close his team mates at the Baggies and Ireland will celebrate goals with him? Wonder would happen if he celebrated in the crowd ( not a huge chance of him celebrating a goal some might say)
At least he won't be able to be out on the town in night clubs before games without a vaccine passport.

I’m pretty sure majority of his peers wouldn’t care and his teammates probably know. Can’t see why this is even news.

Pretty sure Qatar have said non-vaxed players won't be allowed, but, as RoI not likely to qualify, that's a bit irrelevant. I suspect, however, if they were to make it, it would change his mind.

No reason given why he hasn't had it, just doesn't fancy it.
Can't force him, at this juncture, so just have to get on with it I guess. Could cause division within the ranks though and, from my point of view, I just don't get the rationale.

His reason is that he’s been exposed to it at least once before so would have acquired immune responses naturally. Also I believe Qatar are accepting players testing now pretty sure they’ve dropped this requirement.

Will follow Ipswich's fortunes with a bit more interest this season.
8/1 for the title , 11/4 for promotion
Surprised he’s dropped the level considering where he was at trial at and who he was rumoured with, equally could be a really good move to get games under his belt and discover form. Think championship is his level to be fair, good luck to the lad though
