Gayle nearly scored from a great move, probably the best bit of play we've had for a month or two.

More good play and a good save from Murphy.  Brilliant from Gayle to set him up.

I can't watch the game but was wondering if anyone could describe the goal for us?
It sounds like Ipswich are doing ok considering the league positions?

Ipswich are looking a poor side and as I expected we are struggling against them

1-0 is always a dodgy scoreline. Just needs one mistake or bit of luck.

Poor 1st half. Too many misplaced passes and we left too much space for them at the back.
3 at the back is not the answer in my opinion.

It was a free kick on the edge of the box taken Johansen and deflected in of the wall

I missed the first 10 mins but the commentators described it as a deflected free kick.

Ipswich are doing ok, you wouldn't think they were bottom, or you'd think that our league position was closer to theirs.  Both teams have had decent chances, we've had slightly better ones.  Our defence genuinely looks like a Sunday League side when they're trying to play their way out at times.  We've nearly conceded a couple from it.  I just don't get it, I don't see what advantage we are getting from playing that way?  Is it just because we want to go against the Pulis system and be considered as a "footballing" side?  I don't see Ipswich taking the same risks and nobody would consider them long ball.

You’d have to say on the balance of things Ipswich have been the better side they just don’t have the quality upfront to hurt us.

Very poor. Biggest issue for me is our urgency and pace of passing. There isn’t any urgency at all. We seem to be wandering around, even walking to take corners. Passing sluggish too. I’d switch out both midfielders soon as they are useles.

Murphy, Phillips and Gayle looking ok.

We're playing 5 at the back when out of possession, so it's pretty much a 352 when in possession. We desperately need to stop messing about at the back because these could easily score. They don't look like a team rooted to the bottom of the league.

Same as it's been all season. Much better team on paper but we look poor and disjointed, anyone with a slight bit of quality will get a result. Copy and paste for the remaining 10 games.

If Ipswich was clinical up top they would be level, Were dodgy again at the back. Other than Murphys 2 efforts we haven't done much. Midfield 2 getting overran.

Nothing to do with Ipswich, it's our god-awful set up. I refuse to believe that every team in the league has their best performance of the season against us. Every week opposition fans are talking about how well they've played and how they caught us on an off day, little do they realise that we consistently play this poorly.

Sounds like the more things change the more they stay the same with the 2 in charge.

Free header on the pen spot, Phillips didn't track him, not even that powerful and it bounces in a few inches inside the post.  I thought the keeper should do have done better (and Phillips, and maybe Livermore)

Dumb and Dumber keep picking JRod and Gayle and it doesn't work.

If we can't beat these then it doesn't augur well for even recording 1 victory between now and the season end.

Tosin has got to be the worst header of the ball iv'e seen, He always lets it drop on the top of his head. It led too the goal. Does it numerous times in a game, Weird considering his a CB.
