Absolute tragedy, the entire city clearly loved him for everything he had done for not only the club but the community. It probably annoys me more than it should that the Albion haven’t joined the rest of the footballing community and publicly sent their condolences.

R.I.P to all of those on board the helicopter.

Edit: as MisterAT says, it’s a reply to Leicester’s post rather than a post on it’s own it’s not on the main page.

I went and put a shirt at the ground this morning as I said I would, it really is something to see. I felt very emotional and very humble.

That's brilliant that you have taken your time to do that mate, especially as it can represent a lot of Albion fans who can't get up there.

Leicester were poor first half, as you say the centre forward bullied Evans for much of it.

Newport's two centre backs on the other hand played really well and Leicester only got their equaliser (after about 25 other attempts) when the ball was cleared out and then smashed in from distance.

Good spirit from Newport to go back at them and get the penalty. Brainless from Albrighton...

Evans obviously far too classy a player to be bothered really trying in such a trivial game. hah.

On the very small sample I saw (motd) his teammates seemed VERY reluctant to give him the ball.

That is a VERY small sample to make that conclusion.
For what it's worth Charlie Nicholas who was covering that game from the studio said he looked dangerous and would think he should be starting. They were also waxing lyrical over a collection of clips of his goals etc. with us.

My Leicester supporting mate said he looked strong and sharp but none of the team really did much.
