I'm genuinely concerned for this one. We don't have any threat up front really, and that display was awful against West Ham, we need a confidence boosting win in the cup midweek to get us on our way

West Ham were just as bad if not worse than we were, only thing they had over us was a striker in Carroll that could use his physical presence to cause our defenders issues and even then they created sod all. It was two sides desperate not to lose and cancelled each other out. Arsenal will be completely different, they'll take the game to us and if we can somehow keep them out they will allow us more space to play in on the break. Always a tough order to get anything from the top clubs like Arsenal but the performance against West Ham will have no bearing on this game.

Ya think? West ham were much better than us for large parts of that second half, i thought it was a when not if they were going to score if I'm being honest. Agree with your summary of arsenal though, they will take the game to us but we are due a result there tooâ€¦.

Not sure what's happened with me but after watching the Albion for 45 years I have no more enthusiasm for football in general. The second half you saw on wed, I couldn't be bothered by the way. It was just a smoke screen. It's back to normal against Arsenal then Watford etc etc etc

I agree with Devon.
I want the Baggies to win but feel the life of the team has been sucked out of it.
I have actually turned down free tickets to go and watch them.
Wednesday night showed up all those empty seats again.
Do they also feel let down and are now thinking about not going in the future?
How can a team go on without any atmosphere in the ground and playing to empty terraces?
repeat though...I want the Baggies to win.
