Was it Rangers or Celtic who sort of destroyed Birmingham city centre many years ago before a friendly at I think seal park?
Yep.Also saw them when they played at Derby a few years back. Rangers buses parked everywhere and so right states getting off them they were so p8ssed !
Looks like a home based pre season and a training camp in Portugalhttps://www.wba.co.uk/news/2018/may/first-pre-season-fixtures-confirmed/
If as reported we are not leaving the country for our pre-season, strange that Union Berlin's website still advertising a game on 21st July in Berlin. https://www.fc-union-berlin.de/de/fussball/profis/spielplan/detail/-1-FC-Union-Berlin-West-Bromwich-Albion-11171n/Would seem along way to go for just one friendly. Union are also down to play QPR and Stoke. That would tie in with the Stokie's annual trip to Germany (they seem to have some ties with the city of Hamburg). I may email Union Berlin to see what their angle on it is.
Kidderminster away Wednesday 25th July, could be an Under 23 side, not surehttp://www.harriers.co.uk/news/2018/06/15/baggies-friendly-added/
flights booked to aberdeen from exeter
Looking at flights from Brum how long you staying for?
I looked at flights for Aberdeen on Skyscanner the day the fixture was announced. Just checked for Exeter and it's cheaper to fly form there to Aberdeen for an over nighter than it is from Birmingham International. Money grabbing b@st@rds .
Alternately it's only £10.10 on the Megabus from Brum to Aberdeen and £33 return.Only drawback being it leaves at 02:35 hrs and doesn't get there until 12:50 hrs....... hmmmm............ with the return departing at 07:05 hrs and getting back for 18:05....... tempted, especially with the B+B costing about £35 for the overnight.
train return is only £87. dep Brum 06.15 fri arr 13.10dep Aberdeen sat at 09.52 arr brum 17.05only 1 change both ways at Haymarket
