Chelsea 10/11
Newcastle 09/10 (championship)
Arsenal 08/09
Looking at the last 5 seasons it pretty obvious to me that we'll get one of the big boys again which I suppose isn't a bad thing.....I'll go with Man City or Tottenham

One of the big teams away or home,dont like facing the promoted teams early in the season,there so motivated and running on last seasons morale as a rule.

I don't want one of the bigger teams again.

I don't want a newly promoted side either, as they'll be up for it and want to get a flying start.

Somebody like Fulham, Villa, or Sunderland would be good.

Wolves are away at Preston on the opening weekend of fixtures.

I would assume that our season starts two Saturdays later which could see Wolves away again - meaning we would start our first fixture at The Hawthorns.

This is pure guesswork but I don't think they would have a midweek round of fixtures prior to the start of the Premier League.

I believe the Football League starts Saturday,Saturday,Tuesday,Saturday with a block of 2 games either home or away so I make it wolves playing away,home,home,away which would make us starting at home next season! Football league kicks off 3rd August Premier league 17th August obviously not 100% but this is what I believe to be true

The clubs only get the fixtures an hour before they're announced I saw from an Albion employee on Twitter.
