Pre Season
« on: May 15, 2018, 10:15:07 AM »
Anyone heard anything about where our pre season friendlies are yet?

I've heard rumours of Portugal or Hamburg for the tour but nothing about UK friendlies.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a game at Kiddy after postponement of game scheduled for 1 August 2017

I bet the players are glad that there will probably be no mountaineering this year

If its Union Berlin, that's a fair old hike from Munich.
Union Berlin finished 8th in the second division.  When the city was divided, it was in the communist East part of the city. Wonder if they'll organise some more games in Germany whilst they are there.

Rangers at home for the final pre season friendly before the season kicks off now Stevie G is their gaffer I'll keep a close eye on them.

Warnock was on the radio the other day talking about pre season and he said Cardiff attempted to get a friendly with Rangers but apparently their season starts a lot earlier so the dates wouldn’t fit. Doubt we’d be able to squeeze it in either.

Was it Rangers or Celtic who sort of destroyed Birmingham city centre many years ago before a friendly at I think seal park?

Rangers I believe
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

Just removed a couple of posts, maybe time for some to have another read of our rules, if you want to start a Rangers/ Celtic discussion then I can point you in the direction of Facebook as we do not want it on here.
