Is this the first time in years we can get a little bit excited with the third round draw coming up on Monday?

Given Pardew's record (he has been to three domestic cup finals) and we are now starting to play on the front foot is it fair to say we may have a chance  of a decent run this season?

It's not likely we'll get to the final but is this the first season lately that we can just have that little bit of excitement and hope?

I'm thinking maybe!  :o

Favourable draw please. We'll have some non league team at home.  ;)

Give us the Wolves so we can have a proper derby for a change, also we can shut them up as we always have done and will do.

Don’t really want wolves or villa personally I think we would struggle to beat them as they are flying and full of confidence and our record against championship teams in recent years isn’t very good.

I'd like Woking. Settle an old score and stick half a dozen past them.  ;D

Indeed we have and enjoyed every visit personally, so would take it again, Cov away would be good as well.

If they come through their tie with Slough Town tonight Id like Rochdale away.

We've never played them in a competitive fixture and I always prefer away games in the Cup.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Hull away, Doncaster away, either Sheffield club or Leeds away, even Bradford. Nice easy journeys for me.

Failing that Forest Green Rovers so I can at least have a pie!

For selfish reasons Notts County or Forest would be ideal!

For me, I would like:

Wigan
Fleetwood/Hereford
Port Vale/Yeovil
Shrewsbury
Blackburn/Crewe

I'd like to avoid the Wolves for now!

Somewhere we can take a big away following. Coventry or Blues would be good.

Would love to play them, hammer them and then affect their league season due to it  ;D

If we lost to them though, they would be insufferable.

My own preferred choice would be Birmingham away at St Andrews. One of my personal favourite away days.

Like most Albion fans. I'd also be very happy if we get a trip to Villa or Wolves.

If it's a home tie, then not too fussed and would just hope to avoid the likes of Man U, Man City and Chelsea etc.

Wembley here we come... 8)

Think the cup is massive for Pardew. Aside from not being Pulis most of the goodwill towards his appointment seems to be his 2 FA Cup finals.

I'd take ball 63. Fleetwood or Hereford away.

Id be happy to avoid Wulfs and Vile until a later round and then only if we gain some sort of form.
Our cup record against Vile has been atrocious over the years, and there's no guarantee we would beat the dingles either.
