I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game like that, they just kept the pressure on us for 90 mins and we were so bad we couldn’t get out. Decent point though considering the results around us. Need a win at Huddersfield though now.

We need to improve when going ahead in games, we retreat too much and don’t offer enough threat ourselves which just encourages them onto us.

I have, Chelsea v Barca about 10 years ago! It was defence v attack and I think Chelsea won. Possibly a Champs League final. So what I’m saying is QPR we’re prime Barca tonight and we almost emulated prime boring Chelsea!

I thought all those changes and the break would help there. Opposite effect.

What a dire performance this has been.

112th corner.

Sam Field again. We deserved that

Anyone fancy Weimann to come on for Wallace?

Please. Need an out ball.

I’m never one to question Carlos. HOWEVER, he usually has made 5 changes by now and tonight it feels we need all the changes and they aren’t happening.

 :-X

I’ve got the Jura out because of this!

It’s bouncing off Wallace tonight

Well, Palmer should hold it. Some poor moments. QPR’s energy is beating us so far

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Grady Diangana
« on: March 05, 2024, 08:32:05 AM »
I think there are two extremes going on with Grady and opinions of him. One is that of high expectations from his loan season with us, he then failed to hit those heights so people’s opinions were low of him. He then had quite long time of being way way below his capabilities and disappointing us all and most likely himself too and I think we saw that on the pitch. That season/period of time was also plagued with injuries, niggles and basically no first team run. Momentum was completely lost.

Under Corberan he has started to look like he enjoys his football again, he’s celebrating with the fans and smiling and more importantly - 10 goal involvements and on track to match his loan season in terms of stats.

He’s not as electric and exciting as he was but he is equally as effective, he may even end up with better stats than his loan season.

He’s got my backing. Oh and he works very hard off the ball too.

Swift and Chalobah have been dire since coming on. Team were so comfortable before the changes even if it was a Kipre error.

Bad planning by the Bride & Groom!
It’s on main Sky Lewis so you could record it.

Consider it done!

I think it’ll be Wallace in the middle today, Johnston and Fellows wide. Yok and Bartley back into the 11.

Caleb Taylor picked up a "nasty injury" last night according to the Bolton manager. Suspecting ankle ligament damage. Does it never end?

Unreal! Hope he’s ok and can be fit and firing for us for pre season or maybe back for Bolton if they’re in the play-offs

I’d be wondering if it’s time to shake the hand of Matty Phillips and say thank you and then step up Mikey Johnston.

Very enjoyable! Second half we absolutely outclassed them. First half was an exercise in possession football and keeping it tight and second half we pressed, pushed and harried them and played some cracking football. Good atmosphere too. Chatted to a bloke thinking it was WBAinDevon and it wasn’t so that was an interesting chat!

I believe this is where I met WBAindevon and a few others a few years ago back when we played them in a pre season friendly.

My tickets haven’t arrived yet 😬

I’d certainly like to give him more time to impress and games against defences that aren’t top-end championship.

He’s been fantastic and gets some unjust stick in my humble. Started his career with us poorly but can’t knock his performances in the last few months.
