Which what squad? It certainly isn’t going to be the team we have now. There will be a mass exodus.

We wont need to keep hold of much to be more than competitive in that league. It's absolutely rubbish. Problem is do you trust our board to; get rid of Pardew? Appoint someone half decent? Give them a few quid to invest in some new players? I'm not sure I do, which the infuriating aspect.

Is right. Wolves were playing "champagne football" last night apparently. Two goals from dodgy defending at set pieces and a ball over the top. The standard is so poor.

Vile had no idea what they were getting into. I do. We've been 2nd tier or below for the majority of my time supporting us. Had a watch last night and not a great deal has changed since last time we were down there. This current Wolves team certainly isn't as good as Newcastle or we were last time round.

The team we have now is mid table Championship like JP said.
We have an ageing squad, no attacking midfield, no creativity, no quality out wide, and 3 strikers who if they tried to shoot themselves in the head would miss 9 times out of 10

This made me loff. Its true though. And when you say 'current squad' Jacko do you include Greg and Sturridge in that?

I wish I had Jacko's optimism.

There is nobody within this football club who will prepare us adequately for next season

The squad is also heavily lopsided and requires major surgery.

If anything, we will do what Villa did - a year to rebuild before mounting a challenge.

Or there is Sunderland...

It's worse than that chap, he's got an Albion/Wendy half and half scarf.

Thinks no one's noticed 'cause of the stripes.

Someone's watching, always watching.

Must be an owl thing.......tw@t towooooo, tw@t towoooooooo  ;D  ;) .

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

I agree - you just can't judge the standard of the championship on the odd game now and then. It's a slog and all teams will look rubbish at some stage. If we do well next year, there will need to be a lot of ugly wins involved (when other people will be thinking the standard is rubbish). Think we are being a bit naïve if we are confidently thinking we are going to be in a position for automatic next year. There'll need to be an inspired managerial appointment and inspired recruitment for that to happen.

The biggest issue is breathing confidence back in and cutting out the rot.

The manner if your impending relegation suggests something was systemically wrong in the club.

Beyond that, the Championship is often about who makes the fewest mistakes. You find a way to win. It's all that matters.

Was very critical of the standard of the Leeds Dings game. Well this derby is also extremely low on quality. Aside from Grealish who is by far the best player on the pitch.

Only seen wolves a few times but struggle to be impressed by them against decent sides. Outclassed by Villa, were outclassed by Fulham. It's one thing dribbling past lower league journeyman for fun, quite another to do it against better players.

Get the feeling there's a lot of flat track bullies in that squad. They'll struggle with the current squad in the premier league certainly, though I guess with their backers their likely to get some huge names in to bolster.

Hopefully, but I still need some convincing it will actually happen. Too much pooh in that league that they will still beat comfortably

Whys it bottle job on? Villa winning is the worst outcome, it means its even less likely we will play them both next year.

We should want Villa to go up, its clicked for them and Bruce is an excellent championship manager. If they don't go up this season, they'll do it next.

Much prefer Cardiff to stay down who have overachieved and won't be as much a threat.

Wolves won't go up if they drop to 3rd which would be SUPERB. I'm not remotely bothered about Villa.

Yeah but that wont happen, they arent going to drop points to the likes of reading at home, theyve been way too strong this year.

They're getting ****** tonight while Fulham Cardiff and Villa can't stop winning.

It's far worse for them than when they only had us chasing them down.

I think they'll finish 4th.
