there have been some nutty decisions in football recently but this is ridiculous. They´ve just won 4-2 presumably after he gave them a right rocket for an inept first half performance! the games gone mad!!!

Roy Keane apparently at the game today. I dont see how he is better than O'Driscoll. Shame because I like O'Driscoll.

Complete joke, yes they weren't on a good run, but you have to give managers a chance. Mark Hughes return to Blackburn.

I can't help feeling sorry for Henning Berg. The last manager lasted ages when all the fans were calling for his head, and now this former Rovers player has been dumped after 8 weeks.

Shows how ridiculous football is getting.

Another example of what is wrong with modern day football. Sean O'Driscoll who is in the process of getting Forest into the play offs with a good chance of promotion is sacked and the replacement is rumoured to be Roy Keane! I like O'Driscoll and he'll certainly get a job elsewhere. I'm not surprised with anything that happens at Blackburn to be honest.

Alex McLeish is the heavy favourite at the moment.

Replace the expansive football of O'Driscoll for the caveman football of McLeish.

What an appointment that would be. Two polar opposites.

The only way Forest owners can make up for sacking O'Driscoll is to appoint RDM. As for Blackburn why did they appoint Berg in the first place ? He got sacked by a Norway team. Mark Hughes or Billy Davies I reckon.

I have been in the very fortunate position that Sean O Driscoll was my coach and manager many years ago and i have to say he is the best coach i have ever seen / worked. Even back then he was ahead of his time, he love, his players to just relax, pass the ball about and enjoy playing football which is surely what its all about and half the battle to win games.

Not only that we was a really decent nice bloke, i think his character would of suited the Albion, plays football, doesnt want the media spotlight and goes about his job under the rader, he just loves the football side, reminds me of what Clarke is like.

I feared for him when the Kuwait owners came in, with people like that and its happening at Blackburn they often assume a big name manager is the only way forward when it can be quite the opposite, after a couple of iffy seasons Forest needed stability, O Driscoll appeared to give them that and they could of kicked on.

As for Blackburn, what a shambles they are, its the ultimate case of owners treating clubs like toys, they just dont understand that there is not always a quick fix of keep sacking managers, give them time or dont appoint them!

Not too suprised at that has they have been struggling this season, but a manager can noly work with what he has got, Keith Hill wont have a massive budget at Barnsley.

You have to ask what Blackburn Rovers has ever done as club to deserve this? Shebby Singh interview

I have seldom heard anything so utterly clueless
