Looks like we’ve grown out of it. The beach parties of the past were a simple idea, but now, getting anyone to agree on one thing has become a chore. I blame tinternet.  :D

I'd play the kids/reserves. I don't particularly fancy playing Pulis in the play-offs if it happened, he seems to have a curse over his ex-clubs.

Also, I wouldn't want to show my hand to Derby with regards to tactics in case we did meet them again in the play-offs.

No pressure on us now with Villa having failed to win Yesterday, guaranteed 4th place and I expect a raft of changes ready for the play offs.

Would like to see us try and pip Leeds personally (they will make a raft of changes for Ipswich as well now they can't get auto's) and play a full side but can't see it happening.

He'll wrap up our main players in bubble wrap and we'll probably see a lineup of HRK and Edwards up front, with Hoolahan & Field getting starts along with potentially Mears and Townsend etc.

I hope he plays the canteen staff.

Derby need to win this to keep Pulis out of the the play offs [which will be good news for us] and hopefully get him the sack.

As long as Derby win at Swansea on Wednesday they have got a play-off place, then Derby have 73 points. Even if Boro win at Rotherham they have 73 points but with a worse goal difference.

Thanks Kev, did not realise they have a game in hand

Nice one.

Pulis out :) Not that we should care.......

Cannot stand the man and I am so pleased he will [hopefully] miss out.

I could not have put it better myself. But until I know that they have missed out I still half expect Boro to be in there.

Accordingly an new new rule introduced after Huddersfield played 10 reserves means we must have at least 10 of the players who played v Rotherham on the team sheet for Derby

Is that ten players that were in squad of the starting 11?

Do you have a link for this. Am genuinely interested to learn more. The main one I remember is Mick McCarthy's Wolves fielding a reserve team against Man Utd. before playing a relegation contender that led to a fine. Can't recall Huddersfield being involved in such a scenario but assuming it is an EFL rule rather than Premier League wasn't probably as much media coverage.

What is the punishment if the rule is broken. A meagre or large fine. (Suspended) points deduction.
Assuming it based on match-day squad rather than actual team; could have three or four players returning form injury. Three or four players returning from knocks/suspension, could easily see a turnover of 7 or more players for the squad. Of course could be seeing to strengthened the squad depending on what players are bought in.
If this is enforced, should we not ensure same rule is applied to Bolton Wanderers.

News report linked, several outlets have been running this......

It's 10 off the sheet not the starting line up according to this:

The new rule says: "For any league match played on or after the fourth Thursday in March, any team sheet for a league game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the league match before."

So basically we can leave 6 players out all together. 10 outfield players have to be in and the two goalkeepers will add to that . Leaves 6 spots that can change. Gayle Rodriguez Gibbs Hegazi Brunt and Phillips would all be left at home if it was up to me
