Did Wood play in Europe for Blues, he could be doing the same for us next season if we get there and decide to use the sqaud ? 8)

He did indeed, as did Myhill, Ridgewell and Pablo Ibáñez. Wood had two goals in six appearances.

1-0 down to Millwall at the moment. Not Wood unfortunately but Dingle's old boy Andy Keogh.

2-0 Ebanks-Blake penalty

Dingle Don of course was convinced it was inside though. The man who continually described Wolves as "unlucky" throughout the demolition derby last season.

And do Wolves fans have any other songs than anti-Albion ones?

Fantastic miss by he likes cakes though.

If Blackpool weren't so sloppy and wasteful going forwards they would have won this with ease. Ince is incredibly greedy.

Goodman blamed the bobble  :D

I think wolves had something like 3 shots and scored twice, they owe Ikeme big time plus some poor finishing from Blackpool. I would have brought Phillips on earlier as he has that knack of scoring against them.

If anything Wolves were lucky in that game.
We absolutely battered them in the first half and an inspirational Hennesssy and their one break made it 1-1 at half-time. The second half of course gave a much fairer reflection of the game.

From what I remember in the first half, the goal they scored was one only real chance they had in the first half.

At Christmas the top six looks like this:

Quote
1st Cardiff - 47pts
2nd Hull - 44pts
------------------------------------
3rd Crystal Palace - 43pts
4th Middlesbrough - 41pts
5th Leicester   - 37pts
6th Watford - 37pts

bottom three:

Quote
22nd Barnsley - 21pts
23rd Bristol City - 19pts
24th Peterborough - 19pts

I expect a lot of movement in the table in the new year!
I've got those West Bromwich Blues!

It's been an interesting season so far. Shall be interesting to see if there's a side which can put together an 11 game unbeaten run which takes them into the play offs or on the verge of the automatics. Reading put together a phenomenal run last year which took them to the title. I personally would have a bet on Leeds doing something similar. Hull and Cardiff have had impressive starts, very surprised with Hull as I had a feeling they'd be floating around in mid-table but it appears Steve Bruce is doing a good job there so far, Robert Koren and Sone Aluko appearing very influential for them.

As for the bottom, there's a number of poor sides down there. Peterborough leak way to many goals although are capable of scoring plenty down the other end but you're always in for a struggle if you cannot defend. Also explains why Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol City and Barnsley are down there as the trio of them have been awful defensively. Dave Jones I'm surprised is still in a job after going something like 14 games without a win, with something silly like 12 defeats, following that with a victory, before another set of 7 defeats until they beat Barnsley last week and followed that up by beating Charlton on saturday. I read on another forum the other day that Bristol City have reported record losses and that Derek McInnes has had his hands tied in the transfer market. They reported losses of £14.4million and have a wage budget of £18.6million which for me, is incredibly bizzare for what is relatively a smaller club in that division which has a turnover of £11million.

i watch barnsley with interest. they seem to creep about unnoticed, but they are a very local south yorkshire club who seem to bag the wins when they are needed. their 5-0 win at birmingham earlier this year was quite a feat, and yet again they have popped up with a win against in form milwall. i think they will survive relegation but only just.

Usually one club will put a run together around about now, really hope its not Wolves. I imagine it will be tight as usual at both end of the table this season.
